Burg & Barrel - Lenexa

My friend and I loved our experience here! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is comfortable. This was the perfect spot grab a bite and catch up.I ordered the bourbon glaze burger as a wrap, and I was astounded! The flavors of tasting the burger and toppings in a wrap form was delicious. The burgers are also so juicy that I find the bun doesn't hold up as well as the wrap does - just personal preference - the buns are still great!! Theresa was our server and she did wonderful. She truly took her time to make sure our order was correct and made sure our drinks were filled. She was kind and made the experience that much better!! Will most definitely back over and over!

The atmosphere was very much sports bar--lots of high-top tables and LOTS of televisions. It was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. The service was fabulous. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly, answered questions, and provided refills in a timely manner. The food was good, not outstanding, but good enough, and the other aspects made it a 5-star experience.

This place really knows how to cook a burger. The patty has a slight char on the outside but still juicy on the inside, which gives rise to something delicious. I got the Gut Bomb, which sounds less than appealing, but it was two expertly prepared beef patties with an over-easy egg on top. It's surprising that more people don't mention Burg & Barrel when talking about great burgers around Kansas City because it definitely ranks high on my list. Really nice place, upper scale bar vibes with great food. The goat cheese ball appetizer was awesome and so were the Chicken Tenders. Breading was perfect and light and super juicy chicken. Best was the bartender. She was great !!

Hard to choose what burger to get everytime we go there you can't go wrong with what ever you pick I love the smoke house, avocado burger and the cowboy

Good service, nice beer selection, will come back again. The warp was really good, so were the burgers

Service was fantastic! Grace was the sweetest person, couldn't have asked for a nicer server. Restaurant was a big open space without being too loud by echoing everyone's voices, but it wasn't crowded yet either. Seemed clean and well maintained too. Food was wonderful. Burgers cooked just how we wanted them, fries just right & not overly salty. Only thing I'd change would be to ask for them to put the goat cheese on the side. Most places are stingy but here they pile it on, so kudos to them.

Food - Tasty Service - very good even on a busy Friday Night Ambiance - Loud with a crowd Burger Bar At the Opk location they don't have the Goyte burger - they do here. The Goyte burger is patty, goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, bun - look 4 it on the menu IF you be a GC fan. Tots are tasty with either the included ketchup, or mustard on request. One of their tasty burgers has Peanut butter on it with Carolina Reaper (or maybe Pepperjack depending on location???) and I'm sure that would be a taste explsion of sorts. OPK, Lenexa, south (158th and nall?) I suspect they're all good.

The food was perfection!! Had the totchos to start and the queso and bacon was on point. Then the spicy avocado burger was seasoned perfectly and could taste the chipotle mayo and avocado! The service was always with a smile and super fast! The place is open and clean and plenty of tv's. Not from lenexa, so it was good to try a new place that we don't have in our town.

Looks great in the photos but I wasn't impressed with the actual food. The burger I had (Bourbon glaze) was average and way over priced. Paying extra for the sweet potato fries and onion rings was a mistake. The rings were very greasy and I've had better sweet potato fires at fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed as this place had great reviews. If you want beer, I guess this would be a good place for you. The service was great, but just disappointed with the food.
