Solid pizza, with a variety of options. We found the standard topping versions to be more delicious than some of the outlandish combinations, but will be back to try both soon!

It's crazy that more people aren't talking about Buffalo State in conversations about great pizza around Kansas City. The sausage alone they use here is fantastic, which is why I'm always sure to get a Stockyard when I visit so it has all their great variety of meat toppings. Pizza here is pricier than your basic national chain pizzas, but that's because you get a MUCH better pizza in terms of taste and quality. Pizza was SO GOOD and one of my all time favorites. We got it to go but looked okay to stay there. It was ready in good time like 20 min.Pizza was so thin but had just enough bbq that it wasn't overdone. Rarely you see a thin pizza that can hold the chicken.Picture dominos thin but in triangle cuts. It was so good I couldn't stop eating. Get the KCQ

I realized I have not left a review since they rebranded to Buffalo State Pizza. Still the same great pizza and service they have always had. Went last Saturday at a peak rush time around 6pm. Line moved quickly and pizza got out in a reasonable amount of time. All while people were funneling in and out picking up carryout orders.Pizza tasted awesome as usual. Dude behind the counter was old school slinging dough. I always enjoy seeing it! I am always pretty basic and get just a pepperoni slice. Classic and always delicious!

Solid stuff! You can't go wrong with pizza but there is definitely a difference in quality at some places. Buffalo state is in a great central location that has so many different styles and toppings. The best part is that they can make huge pizzas. I really enjoy just ordering it to go or sitting down and grabbing a beverage. It's a cool space and the downtown location has a neat patio. Definitely try it out if you haven't been.

Food - consistently goodService - goodAmbiance - Pizza Parlor with plentiful of seating, can get loud when full.tThis location in downtown Opk is the renewal of Papa Kenos (80s - early 2000s maybe).GIANT slices to order of any of their flavors or a tasty Pepperoni or Mushroom or both etc.Nice to be able to make your own drinks like cherry Diet Dr. Pepper w/o the button machine - old school 5 choice machine.Pepsi, products and Diet Dr. Pepper.A game or two of the classic Ms Pac-man or that timeframePlenty of parking across the street if Santa Fe road be full (usually) esp. with Lulu's just down the block.Nice to see that in addition to Parmesan packets and red.pepper packets they also have honey packets.Chairs are hard metal and booths are usually available.

This pizza place is a great choice if you like New York Style pizza! It's not my go-to style, but I was still impressed nonetheless. The service was good, and the ordering process is kind of fast-casual where you order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The servings are HUGE and I love that you can turn any pizza you want into a calzone. I ordered the Buffalo Bill as a calzone and it was good. A bit heavy on the blue cheese in my opinion but I would still get it again!

I was excited to check this place out, I had heard good things from friends and they did not disappoint. I ordered a slice of the Parma and the frontage dip, for the dip you get to choose if you want it made with their homemade marinara or pesto. We ended up choosing the pesto version after asking the workers what their favorite was. You also get to choose two toppings and went with mushrooms and pepperoni. I think next time I might choose an easier meat to dip with but overall it was fantastic and came with a TON of bread for dipping. The pizza was fantastic as well and the blue cheese surprised me, it really worked with the other toppings. I'm excited to come back and tryout some more of there specialty slices that are offered.

We tried the K.C. location and it was great!!!! Since we live closer to the old O.P. location we thought lets get one there. It still is a long drive 15-20 min. but I thought it would be worth while. When I walked in and went to the register to pick up my 14 inch pizza I wasn't greeted nor asked if I needed any help. The young lady didn't grasp that I was the customer and maybe should be treated well.. I would not have written this review had I not been very disappointed in the undercooked pizza where everything about it was the opposite of the great pizza I got at the crossroads location. I guess in the future I will go the extra mile, and get a great pizza with a customer friendly atmosphere.
