I love Bruu. I wish I could have it everyday honestly! It's the best boba tea in all of Kansas City. They have a cute little shop on the Plaza where you order off a kiosk with cute little booths to watch them make your drink. Super quick service so if you're in a pinch for time, you can still get your milk teas! A huge menu, I haven't had a bad one yet! A little pricey but worth it.

My niece who lived in Kansas City made us visit this cute bubble tea place. Lots of varieties of bubble tea. You order at the kiosk and service was quick. The creme brulee milk tea was great. Others loved the peach bubble tea.

When an asian says that their dessert is "not too sweet..." it really is the HIGHEST compliment. A year later, and I'm still lovin' everything Bruu.ESPECIALLY their milk tea collection.

My husband and I stopped at this cafe while walking around in the heat. We were itching to try a refreshing tea and this place didn't disappoint. It provided exactly what we needed, a refreshing beverage. I ordered the sunshine pineapple peach lemonade with coconut jelly. It was very refreshing and tasted delicious. I would have gulped it down in 2 seconds if the coconut jelly didn't slow me down. The staff there was so nice too! The lady behind the counter fawned over my daughter (we were the only ones in the store at the time). She was very personable and so friendly. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular, but even if you are just visiting and in need of something refreshing in this heat, it is definitely worth a trip.

Great service. Fast ordering and fast service. We waited like 4 minutes max to receive the order. Chill spot the vibe was relaxing. The drinks are refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend.

A cute little boba shop! Ordered on the kiosk and got my drink pretty fast. I got the anchan strawberry latte because it looked pretty. It tasted just as good as it looks! And this place is located in Country Club Plaza, so it's convenient to grab a yummy drink while walking and shopping around or to chill amidst your shopping.

If you like taro milk tea I recommend, best taro I have had in a while! Quick service and located on the plaza righr across from a parking lot.

My sister had given me a gift card to this place for Xmas since I'm an avid bubble tea drinker (tried approx 60ish boba places since June 2022) and she wanted to try bubble tea for the first time so we were excited to try it out and use the gift card before our flight the next morning.We ended up ordering 3 fresh milk creme brûlées, 2 passionfruit teas (one with 0% sugar and one with 75%) and a hot thai coffee.2 of our 6 drinks were ordered separately first on the touchscreen menu. We were ordering the remaining 4 drinks on the touch screen menu and one of the two people working was very short and unfriendly telling us to use the other screen to order so it would be faster but we wanted to pay with the gift card and one credit card. And we were just about to place the order.She seemed frustrated and flustered that we were wanting to use a gift card because they don't accept gift cards on the touchscreen and she had to use an iPad to process payment. While I get that sometimes it seems less than ideal to get customers right before close if you're in a hurry to get somewhere after work but 17 mins before close isn't the worst and that's potentially 7 new regular customers...so while you don't have to bend over backwards...the least they could've done was not give attitude. I've previously worked as a server for many years so I get that it can be frustrating sometimes but we were not being rude at all.While ordering I had a simple question because my go-to is jasmine oat milk tea and there was no option to add oat milk to the jasmine green tea. She abruptly said they don't have jasmine milk tea. So I chose passionfruit tea since it had real passion fruit in the picture. Passionfruit tea - they actually did not have any real passionfruit in them at all despite being advertised with it. I don't know if they normally do and they decided to not include it because they were in a bad mood or if the photo is just totally misleading...but the passion fruit tea didn't even taste like real or artificial passionfruit. And on top of that the drinks were incorrectly labelled - I received the 75% sugar passion fruit tea with a 0% label. But our friend got the 0% with a 75% label. Luckily we figured it out and switched after awhile but I didn't end up drinking mine because the drink was disgusting...not due to lack of sugar but because it literally tasted like a really boring low quality teabag flavored peach tea or something. 0/5The creme brûlée drinks were good. It's a drink that is a pretty safe recommendation for most people who have never had bubble tea or rarely have it. It had a really nice caramel brown sugar flavor but I didn't like that you can't make any modifications at all to sugar or ice. My sister liked it but as the drink went on..realized it was too sweet. 3.75/5The boba itself was okay. Cooked all the way through, soft, chewy but could've had better flavor. They were slightly larger size than average and decent portion in each cup to almost have enough to the end of the drink. 3/5The design, color scheme and decorating of this place is very cute though.Overall, my ratings average to 2.25. I was going to set my review to a 3 star but because the service was unnecessarily rude and the passionfruit tea was misleading and so incredibly disappointing I'm making it a 2. Because of these reasons I don't know if I'd go back when we're back in the area.

The ambiance of this place is so well thought out, yet minimalist. Walking in you feel welcomed and happy to be there. All the employees have greeted me upon arrival. A kiosk sits on the left side to order your tasty beverages. So many choices that you wouldn't have to drink the same thing twice in the same month. They specialize in teas, lemonades, & lattes to die for with your choice of different boba and jelly. Using premium ingredients, made with love, your first drink here won't be your last. On par with most price wise but better than them because the size of the cups are larger than the average places. Choose your sugar level as well as the amount of ice and you have crafted one of the best drinks you will ever have. The owner is a sweetheart and can help you pick something that will suit your fancy. I've had the Thai tea, mango creamsicle, and the strawberry latte with rainbow bubble and I have yet to be disappointed.

Great for a picture on the swing. The drink are good. The service was great. They had a look of table so you could seat anywhere.
