The line for #RSD2018 already stretches at least half a block. Hard to say if I'll find anything I came for.
Store Front as Seen From Johnson Dr.
I remember a friend having this on cassette back in the day...
Scanning all records for "Autumn Leaves". Found it.

Didn't know this place existed!Stopped in on a lark and bought three LPs right off the bat. This place is a dream. It's look and feel harken back to the old days of being able to wander into a record store shop around and flip through several hundred LPs check- out the latest stuff in from both the new and the latest used music. Then you can wander over to the other part of the store and look at the classic toys you grew up with and reminics about how much your Heman collection would be worth. Then snag a Voltron figure for your office shelves!I guess this shows how nerdy I actually am... but I know I will see many of you at this store!

Jazz fans, classic rock fans, old R&B fans I found your "go to" spot in KC for your vinyl collection. Huge selection of the genres plus lots of misc crates to dig through. They also have a nice selection of new vinyl too. Including a small CD inventory. Everything is reasonably priced. I picked up a couple used Hendrix albums and they sounded great. But I also compared them to prices on EBay and I feel like I got a solid deal. They do have a listening station in the back, but it's more to check for scratches and such, the belt drive speed is off kilter.Be sure to talk to the owners. They love talking about music.

This is a rather small, compact record store located in suburban KC. There's a good selection of vinyl - mostly known for their jazz collection. Prices are moderate and the staff super friendly.

What a jewel, right in the heart of Mission! A friend had asked me if I had been here yet, and I had to reply no, because I had no idea this store even existed!I stopped by today after work to peruse, not really expecting to find much beyond the usual classic rock albums, cut-outs and new audiophile releases. However, as soon as I started looking, I knew this would be different. They have things very organized, with the newest arrivals right by the front door. I've been sort of actively looking for the 1984 David Gilmour album "About Face" for a while...and not having much luck. When I say actively, I mean that whenever I found myself in a record store, I'd see if they had it. Today was no different, and I looked through the classic rock bins, expecting my usual disappointment...but, lo and behold, at the back of the rack under the G's...there it was! I snagged a couple ELP records that I didn't have on vinyl, and even picked up a Miles Davis record for my bride. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for in a record store. I will definitely be coming back when the mood strikes me. What's even better, not only is it a record store, but they also sell instruments and offer music lessons! If you haven't been down Johnson Drive in Mission for a while (and with all the construction that's been going on down there for the last couple years, who has?) head to this place and support a good old-fashioned record store!

The owners are personable and staff are very friendly and helpful. However, if you are trying to sell your vinyl or cd's go some where else. I was going to sell some vinyl and was offered about $1 apiece. My CD's were valued at .30 per disc. I declined. I took them to Mill records on Broadway and was able to get about $2.50 apiece and .75 on CD's. The exact same item I offer Brothers is now listed on the website for $22+. The reseell market isn't great but it is insulting to be low balled and then see your stuff being sold at such high prices. Won't do business here again.

We travel to many record stores each year and this is one of the best. A greeting when we walked in, check backs, great selection, quality product. The best Jazz and Blues selection I have ever seen. These guys are doing it right!

We have really become addicted to this place. Really great people that run it & know their stuff. My vinyl collection has expanded exponentially, getting all the Jazz & Bossa Nova my little heart desires. Really great picking & they're always getting "new" stuff in. They buy as well as sell. So if you have old records you don't want or having an estate sale, give these guys a go! They also give guitar lessons. After years of talking my husband into getting back to one of his favorite passed times, he has finally started. Super nice people, cozy & browse all you want without a bother. I just got a rare Nina Simone collection album & will keep going back to find more keepers.
