Friendly, convenient neighborhood liquor store located in the Brookside area. The wine is always reasonably priced, and sections are labeled clearly. The staff always offers to help when you're browsing. This place is quickly becoming a favorite for me!

This is one of the few liquor stores that hosts tastings for multiple drinks at the same time. I visited during one of these events around Thanksgiving, and the place was packed. They served tastings of a few brands of whiskey and wine, along with pie; all were sample-size, 1-2 ounce servings. Everyone attending and the employees were cognizant of the packed space and moved around accordingly, as the store doesn't seem equipped to host large crowds. I did purchase some liquor not being sampled, and the employees were beyond helpful in recommending what liquors to consider in accordance to my diet requests. I appreciate such a spot as this that welcomes interacting with the community.

I love the area I live in, but when a CVS represents the best liquor and beer selection for miles, that's a problem. Fortunately, just a short jaunt down to the eastern edge of Brookside has a nice liquor store! I walked in looking for a good sixer and saw Milwaukee's Best, Natty Ice and the like in the left case.. About to bail, I then noticed the little beer cave sign towards the back... YES! They have a walk in fridge-cave full of all kinds of good beers. Boulevards, Lagunitas, Bell's, and loads of newbies to try out. They were friendly and had a ton of options, so in an area without a lot of options, that's the perfect combo for me.

In my first visit I was on a quest for Boulevard's recently released Saison Brett. I was discouraged to learn that they had sold out quickly. As I perused through the store the manager/owner (I presume) appeared with a bottle that he had stashed for personal consumption. He informed me that he was willing to part ways with this limited edition masterpiece under one condition... that I return in the future for my alcohol related needs. Safe to say I agreed to the terms, and left feeling like I had just done business with someone that actually cares about service. I wouldn't have given that bottle to the Make-A-Wish Foundation!

Close, convenient, friendly, good selection. These guys have it done right. The appeal had taken an upwards trend since the store ws reopened under the monicker of Brookside wine and spirits. Previously, it was royal liquor, and a complete dive. Why do I like this place? What other place lets you being your dog in, no one! The owners cool, the workers are laid back and offer great tips of what's in stock. As far as wine goes: they suggested the f- bomb ( yes, that's really it's name) and it was a really good choice! They stock good beers, besides the standard stock and I've found a few rarities that I even had to fight a neighbor over ( they didn't deserve it). This place carries cigars, which I'm not fond of, but it at least ads some to the neighborhood. I still can't get over the fact they let me shop with my dog. It's really everything you wanted in a neighborhood store. I try not to review anything and everythg - and only want places that I would use or recommend using. I think this app is only viable if cool places make the cut. That's my humble opinion.... Here goes...

Had a great experience at brookside. Trying to buying double IPAs for a friends without knowing much about beer can be daunting but Cam, the mgr was very helpful. She not one suggest beers that he loved. She also suggested other types that were equally amazing. I learned a lot and left with a case of beer. And maybe some gin...she is great! As is their selection.

Dusty, staff stares at cell phone and pretends not to see me hoping her coworker would. Then she didn't even know anything about wine but still wasted my time trying to fake it. And everything is overpriced.

We used these guys to provide the alcohol for my daughter's wedding. They deliver to the event space and are so easy to work with! We made several changes to our order and Trey was very accommodating. We had some unique circumstances which made it necessary to reschedule the wedding and were able to return everything and then purchase it again for the rescheduled date. We also were able to return anything that was leftover. I can't say enough good things about them and would highly recommend them for any private event.
