Very excited for a local brewery in Belton! It's a great starter brewery, they offer about 12 of their own beers. You can get pints, flights, or 5oz. (And growler fills) They also have a small liquor sampling. Beer is well brewed, my favorite is the burnt district coffee blonde which is their best on tap. They also added a few seltzers for those not fond of beer. The atmosphere is what makes this place great. Not super crowded and the owners are very friendly. Makes supporting local businesses well worth the visit. No food but you can bring in your own. Rich and Riches is just two doors down and he will deliver, as well as Taras malt shop. They have a small indoor corn hole area and a garage door that can open during good weather.

I don't go to Belton too often but really the only reason I venture that way is to hit up Broken Hatchet. They have a large taproom with cornhole, TVs, couches, and plenty of seating. In addition to beer, they have whiskey, wine, seltzer, and even root beer on tap. They do have a few prepackaged snack options but no kitchen. I believe they have food trucks come out regularly. They also do events. On my last visit they had fliers for paint your pet night. So that would be fun to do and they certainly have the space for it. They offer a wide variety of beers-light, dark, and everything in between. One of my favorites is the Burnt District Blonde with coffee. It's a nice light beer that has a hint of coffee that isn't overpowering. If you're in Belton definitely check it out!

Broken Hatchet is a fun brewery in Belton. There is a lot of seating and even a garage style door at the front to let in fresh air. While we were there, they had the Royals Game and the Current game on. We had the brisket nachos along with our flight. The nachos were great. I liked that they did not skimp on the toppings. We also had a beer flight. I enjoyed the black cherry seltzer and would order that again. Staff were all friendly and quick to give recommendations.

Great active, engaging and still has a local vibe atmosphere! They are constantly expanding their collections of beers along with other options for those customers who are not big fans of beer. The staff was super friendly and I will hands down be going there again soon!

Super fun spot in downtown Belton. Owners are from Lees Summit but wanted a Main St location so chose this spot. A beer variety for everyone but they also offer sodas and wine. You can bring food in. They do have bags of chips and pretzels. If you follow them on social media they often have events with food establishments. They even do a cribbage night. They have some games and corn hole. You can see their tanks as well. Owner is wonderful and can give you the history behind their name. It is based off Carrie Nation. Who happens to be buried in Belton.

The first microbrewery in Belton came with some pretty solid beers! I have been to almost every brewery in town and can say they compete with the rest. The environment is clean and cozy with a lounge area, bar and table seating, and an area to play Cornhole. The beers taste clean and crisp and provide a balanced flavor. The owner and his wife are attentive and are cordial to their customers. You can slow down here as there is no major rush so you can sit and relax with a brew. I do wish they would rotate beers more often but the ones they have are consistent and easy to drink. The brewery is nestled in the heart of downtown Belton which is also cool to stroll and eat some Mary mountain cookies or Tara's and see the railroad tracks. Overall a good experience. I have been several times and continue to attend in the future.
