The wall of this place is beautifully painted so makes for great group photos after saying yes to the dress.
The vibe: I just walked into Kim and Kanye's house. Oh wait i'm just in a bridal store ran by skinny chicks in biker shorts and blazers
They have a lot of adorable head pieces as well as accessories. The room is big enough to fit a large group.
I had about 8 people in my group with me.

This was my first place I tried on wedding dresses and I am so glad I did! First off, this is the cutest place ever!! Laura was amazing! She really helped me to see different styles to make sure I tried on everything! I had so much fun at my appointment. I didn't ever feel pressured to pick a dress or to try on something I didn't like. Laura read my body language and was able to help me make decisions because I'm very indecisive!Unfortunately, I did not get my dress here because I found a different style that they did not carry, but I had messaged Laura to let her know and she was genuinely happy for me! They care more about their brides than the sale! I wish I would have found my dress here because they were truly amazing. I recommend everyone who knows a future bride to go here

Hands down my most favorite dress shopping experience. Laura was wonderful. She was charming, sweet, accommodating to both me and my group, and was just an overall pleasure to work with. I did not buy my dress here but because of my amazing experience, I gush about this place to all of my newly-engaged friends. I mean, I feel so strongly about my experience that I'm writing a review. Laura really gets to know you. She asks a few questions to get a feel for you and your wedding day, inquired about my fiance, and my group of friends. We brought in a tray of fruit and (multiple) bottles of champagne, she allowed us to munch and drink all while discussing each dress. I get very nervous when trying on a dress and Laura made me feel so comfortable, allowed me some time to think dresses over, and was very patient. The dresses were gorgeous! Very modern and different. Laura carefully chose dresses within my budget but also challenged me to consider different looks and styles. The space is beautiful and gives off a very instragram-worthy vibe. Not once did I feel pressured. Really, this place is a dream and I hope every bride experiences BRIDE. I walked away with a favorite dress in mind but ended up going with a different dress at another boutique. That being said, I still recommend BRIDE because of the outstanding time and the beautiful collection of dresses they had.

I went to four different bridal shops, even some of the most couture boutiques in Las Vegas and this one just blew me away. Laura was incredibly sweet and adorable. She let us drink our champagne and let me just wear my dress and enjoy it for as long as I wanted. We took pics and laughed and cried. This place gave me the Say Yes To The Dress experience that I always dreamed of. Her style and selection is perfect for cool, modern, beachy vibes. My wedding is in Jamaica, so I found exactly what I wanted here! Can't wait to get married in my gown!

Found this place via instagram + driving by it. I'm new to the area and needed to get alterations to my dress. It looked exactly my style so I figured they would be able to point me in the right direction! Since I already had purchased my dress, I obviously wouldn't be getting one from them which I was up front about, but had they been helpful I may have wanted to buy some accessories or find other reasons to visit. Instead (after explaining my entire situation to them) they told me they only give those "lists" to people who buy things before I even got to mention I might be interested in items other than a dress. Just kind of disappointing given the circumstances. I was living in Philadelphia when I picked the dress out and now I'm just a girl looking for some guidance in KC. Small thing but makes the difference between a good and bad business to me and what I'd recommend to a friend. Bummer.

Where to begin... I reached out to Bride because they are the only shop in the Kansas City area that has the dress that I want for my wedding. I reached out to them and told them the truth, that I had already purchased the dress in California (where I'm getting married) but wanted to be able to have some other members of my family in KC be able to see the dress, so I was hoping to do an accessory appointment / veil shopping at Bride. My mom has already booked a flight from CA to KC for a Friday to Sunday trip (which I told them), and asked if I would be able to get a Saturday morning appointment. They proceeded to tell me that they only do accessory appointments on Tuesday-Thursdays. Odd, but I was hoping with an explanation of my situation, they might be willing to make an exception - they did not. They said that Saturday mornings are reserved strictly for first time bridal appointments, and there was nothing they could do about my scheduling issues, since they only have 2 stylists and not a lot of availability. Mind you, if I had told them that I had not bought the dress already and snagged that first time bridal appointment, and pretended I would be buying it from them, there would not be an issue, but I always like to be honest with people - and they don't care! They said there is absolutely nothing they can do, it is their policy. Mind you, veils are not cheap!!! It's not like I was asking for 3 hours of their time to go in and buy a $50 bracelet... I wanted an hour to be able to try on the dress and some different accessories and veils, and I was more than willing to give them my business, because shop small right! NO. They said for accessory appointments they can only book me on a Tuesday-Thursday and I only get 30 minutes... 30 minutes is all you can give me when I'm about to spend $$$$ on accessories for the dress? AND they're only open until 6... So you're telling me I need to come straight from work (30 minutes away) where I already feel gross and not in the mood to be happy and excited and I better make a decision in 30 minutes? I understand that there are rules, and that they can run their business however they want, but I was so disenchanted with the whole thing and their utter lack of leniency that even though they're the only store that has the dress in KC, I will not be giving them my business. They were not overtly rude to me, but my favorite thing about shopping local, and shopping small is that they usually are able to bend the rules and help you out since they are the ones in charge. Apparently, Bride does not feel this way. So word to the wise - only ever tell them you are doing a first time bridal appointment if you want them to actually help you and treat you well.

First, I would like to apologize to all the brides looking for a dress that I was not able to post this sooner. I was heartbroken after picking up my dress in November from Bride. and it has been very difficult for me to put my experience into words. After a lot of thinking, I decided that I would list a couple of points that I would like brides planning to shop at Bride. to know.1. You will be treated like a princess until you order your dress and pay them a tip. Then YOU will have to go out of your way to pick up your dress. Especially if you are from out of town.2. When you order your dress, you are signing a contract agreeing to the measurement that they take. 3. If the dress comes in too small, Bride. WILL NOT help you. You will be stuck with a dress that does not fit.4. Plan to pay a significant amount for alterations even after being measured by a professional and paying extra for a split-sized dress. The dress that I ordered from Bride. was not able to be fixed. I do not live in KC so I went to another alteration professional that I have successfully used for years. She was not able to get the dress to fit me and I was forced to buy another dress. I do not and will not recommend Bride. I think they have a good selection of simple bridal gowns in the KC area, but if you choose to buy your dress here you need to be aware of what your experience could be.

Want to feel like shit about yourself while shopping for your dream dress? Go here. We drove in to KC from out of town and scheduled an appointment here as it came highly recommended. Walking in you can immediately tell how gorgeous of a space it is, very kardashian, very joco. But, if that isn't you, a space like this can be easily intimidating. So I hoped that my consultant would make me feel more comfortable. She did not. Very young, seemed very inexperienced and shallow compared to other consultants i've had. She was also not married herself and has never been so it was hard for me to look past the fact that she had never been through this process herself. She had me pick out 2 gowns and she picked out 12ish in my price range. Keep in mind that per each price range there are only 15-25 gowns in store to try on + almost every gown was a size 2 so it is difficult to imagine what the dress would even look like without it suffocating you... I kept making suggestions for styles I might want and she kept saying well we will try on this one first that I picked out and was not letting me, the bride, run the appointment. Overall, not fantastic customer service. It felt like you were at the blonde snooty stuck-up sorority going through rush. Also for the price points the dresses were honestly not worth it due to overall quality. Not the best experience, really not gonna lie.

I would recommend doing just what Laura at Bride said and going in and reading our email chain. You will find that this shop is totally willing to scam brides. I actually did drop my claim with the Missouri Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau, because I did not want to make the focus of my wedding and honeymoon the disappointment and anger I felt over my experience with Bride in KC. I decided instead to focus on all of the joy of my marriage. I was blessed enough to find a used dress from a consignment shop that I totally recommend here in Seattle last-minute, so everything worked out great for my wedding! Bride was awful and could have ruined my wedding experience if I had let them. Thankfully I had a ton of support around me and everything worked out truly beautifully. I would totally recommend avoiding Bride and Sarah Seven dresses. I consistently heard from others they they had major fit problems.
