They just are not trying to keep up with modern times and their prices are higher and wait times longer than just ordering something yourself online. They dont offer "anything unique or special" . I'd say pass on Brant's...

The owner is rude, unkind and short with customers. Hung up on me while on the phone while I was asking about pricing and products. He said he wouldn't do my order and simply hung up. Disgrace to the Liberty community. Avoid at all costs.

I've been shopping there for 40 years and will continue to be a loyal customer. My sister and I got our letter jackets st Brant's in the 90's and I got my daughters' letter jackets there in the last few years. I also got my pinewood derby and other Boy Scout supplies there. They have a great variety of gear for Liberty, Liberty North, William Jewell, Mizzou, NWMSU, KU, K State, Chiefs, Royals, and Current. I know I'm forgetting something, but they have alot of stuff!!!

I just want to start this off by saying I did not want to feel the anger I do towards Brant's Clothing, but it was not my choice. I did not want to stoop to this level. But here I am.I had to write a paper about a business for a journalism class, so I went online to find a local place that looked interesting. When I came across the Brant's Clothing mention on the City of Liberty website, my interested was caught. Like most people, I am a sports fan, so naturally I thought Brant's Clothing would be something worth considering. It is not. I called Brant's Clothing's number and was greeted by a man's voice: "Brant's Clothing" was all he said. I suppose the pleasantry of a "hello" is a luxury reserved only for those foolish enough to spend their hard-earned income at the store in person."Brant's Clothing," he said. I responded by saying hello, giving my name, and stating my simple business of being in school and having to write a paper. I asked the man if I could speak to a manager about an interview for my paper, and the voice on the phone bluntly and rudely stated, "No, I'm not interested in an interview. Thanks for calling." Of course, I was surprised by the harsh verbal roadblock this man laid out in front of me, so I asked "I'm sorry?" But clarification or explanation was not was I was given. Instead I was given an impolite and rushed repetition of the statement. "No. I'm not interested in an interview."The thing is, I believe very strongly in the freedom of commerce; for businesses to have the right to conduct themselves how they see fit. But, what I am not in support of is customer service of the nature that I experienced today. An owner of a business certainly has every right to deny an interview, and who's to say that "can't" be rude while doing it? But that interaction left me feeling completely ignored, undervalued, and disrespected. That man can live his life however he wants, but today it was my path he crossed. It was my mood he disturbed and my project he gave me no help with. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow it will be your child that goes into Brant's Clothing, searching the racks for that number 15 Chiefs t-shirt. I have no idea how this man would address or treat other customers, but I certainly hope the treatment I received today is not an indication of how he conducts himself on a daily basis. No, actually. You know what? I do hope he goes around speaking to people the way he spoke to me today. I hope he carries that ignorant and dismissive attitude into an interaction with someone who can actually tell him off to his face. That's all I can say on the matter. Any more would make me as bad as him.I will pray for whomever that man is, and hopefully he turns himself around.

I make an effort to shop local and support this store from where my parents purchased my shoes and scout attire when I was a child. These days, I stop in to shop for Chiefs and Royals attire. There is a lady there that has great customer service and is very helpful. If she is not there and you have to deal with the owner, it is horrible customer service experience. He doesn't seem to care about customers.

My son and I went in to buy a LNHS Band patch for his letterman jacket. We were told by the staff that they only have enough patches for the number of jackets they have in stock. Since we bought his jacket at LNHS they refused to sell the patch to us. Doesn't seem like a very smart business practice - especially if we need more patches in the future!

We have always preferred to keep our shopping dollars local but Brant's is a big disappointment. We have tried to shop at this store for years as we have 3 children attending Liberty North. The staff is always rude and unhelpful in our experience. There is always a lack of North gear and when we purchased a letterman's jacket there the craftsmanship was terrible. When we recently tried to take new jackets to have patches put on (the jacket from Brant's looked so bad a new one was purchased) we were told that Brant's only sews patches on jackets they have sold. I must point out here that these jackets were purchased from the Liberty North High School store in an attempt to support the school. We were prepared to pay a higher price to have patches sewn on, but to be completely denied was a bit of a shock even for Brant's. Guess they don't need our money. Then again they do have a captive audience being the only gig in town.
