The smell just walking in the place is worth the trip!!!Some of the freshest Conchas I have ever eaten. Picked up some Abuelita Chocolaté and was set for the weekend. And it was the Snowstorm weekend in Jan! Will definitely go again!!

Could need more assistance in the kitchen honestly. I love a big backed burrito that's filled with meat and veggies that are even sifted in the burrito!

Bonito Michoacan Bakery in KCK is a sweet spot that you do NOT want to miss out on. I'll be 100% honest...I have never walked into a bakery and been surrounded by so many large and spectacularly sized pastries and desserts. Many of the options are larger than the size of my face! The sweet and fresh baked smells inside of Bonito Michoacan is almost overwhelming..in a GREAT way! Grab a large platter, grab some tongs, and start picking out your favorite sweet treats with a cultural spin. You can also purchase fun items for parties and events such as pinatas, candy baskets, specially made cakes, and more.

This place is an absolute treat for tres leches lovers. Loved the fact that they're very easy, understanding and have three different options in regards to sizes for cakes and in addition to that they're willing to make changes depending on the size and flavors the customers favor. The cake was absolutely delicious and was dense with its milk contents and gives that fresh flavor. The cake wasn't soggy and it had its perfect consistency.Absolutely recommend it and unbelievable price point.

Authentic AF!!Seems to be a neighborhood favorite and I can't blame them. The lunch line was packed and the place was full of energy.

A clean modern Mexican bakery across the street from the parent grocery store and taqueria of the same name.Grab a pizza pan and tongs and fill it up with wonderful cookies, churros and pastries. The cookies are much more thick and weighty than normal cookies but deep in flavor. I always make sure I have a big glass of milk when consuming them. The other 2 things that I love about this place is the crock of chocolate for churro dipping and the cups of Tres Leches Cake in the cooler.

Pal pastry date led to the absolute most amazing Bavarian cream filled, flakey pastry I have ever wrapped my lips around. Mexican pastries will make you sigh with disappointment when eating a regular donut. I don't know what they do different (probably lard) but I will drive across town just to get one. I generally get three though. This bakery is easily in my top three in KC. The service was absolutely fantastic, super friendly. Super heart this place. Plus right across the street you will find some of the best tacos and markets in KC. Come for breakfast, stay for lunch, and take home dinner.

A long, long time ago in a land, far, far away, giant humans twice our size roamed the earth with massive appetites we cannot today even begin to imagine.OK, not really. But had there been, their sweet tooth (teeth?) would have been more than satisfied here. God gawd almighty but the pastries here are enormous! No, I mean, they are massive, and actually frighten me. They look like a dessert meant to be split by 4-5 people. There's nothing small here.I have no idea what these lovely baked goods are, or what they are called, and few if any of them on sale here are labelled. What I do know is that they're usually a little lighter in taste than you might imagine and not really as scary once you bite in. Wait, that's not right, they still scare me. I don't profess to know a thing about the traditional bakery items of the Michoacan area of Mexico but they have a good thing going and the goods here should be on your list if you have a sweet tooth. Go ahead, try them all, please, then contact me and tell me what my next choice is. After a satisfying $1.00 taco Friday across the street at their parent grocery store of the same name, a stop here is just the ticket. This is probably my 3-4th time here and the place perplexes me, but in a good way.Guessing the same goods that appear in their sister store in Olathe are baked here. They look identical. Oh, and don't let the size scare you. Very low cost. Today with a friend we had two massive items, total bill: $2.37. Like.No frills, good service, and enough eye candy in baked goods to make it difficult to pick. I'll be back again in the future, soon as there's another dollar taco Tuesday or Friday and I feel up to the drive.

Extensive selection of pastries, cookies, cakes. A real treat to visit and select goodies. Easy location and access with plenty ofParking. Their special occasion cakes were amazing. Get off the beaten track and try someplace new ! Worth a side trip from Jo Co.
