Delicious food always accompanied by great service. We love the salsa here, fresh and zesty, not a lot of heat. The hot sauce is packing a punch and has incredible flavor as well. Big portions for a great price. Definitely recommend Bohemio over the Mexican restaurants nearby.

Stopped here for lunch. We were greeted immediately and seated. Staff were so friendly. Chips and salsa came right away. The salsa was really fresh with lots of cilantro and chunks of tomatoes, with a little bit of heat. I ordered street tacos al pastor and my husband ordered 3 ground beef crunchy tacos with rice and beans. Unfortunately my street tacos did not deliver on the promise the salsa made that the food would be fantastic. The chopped pork had no flavor, at all. The sauce that was served with them was spicy but had no distinctive flavor. My husband said the ground beef in his tacos was also flavorless. Considering his level of comparison is Taco Bell. In contrast, the refried beans were very flavorful and tasted like they were made from scratch. The rice was pretty standard.I can not say enough about how friendly the staff was. That coupled with the fresh salsa is the reason I have given it 3 stars. However, we will most likely not eat here again due to the food when there are so many other choices on Southwest Blvd.

Unlike many Mexican restaurants along Southwest Blvd, this large restaurant has a huge parking lot --- a major convenience. In addition, I very much liked the catfish with added shrimp. It includes guacamole, sour cream, rice, and beans. In fact I liked the catfish and shrimp so much that I ordered a second takeout order for tomorrow's lunch. But unfortunately they only have refried beans. I much prefer black beans. If you like refried beans, you might like this restaurant. But for me, the lack of black beans is an unfortunate, big negative.I don't really know why, but many of the Mexican restaurants along Southwest Blvd do not have black beans, only refried beans. Those restaurants seem to have mostly border-Mex (Tex Mex) food. It is easier to find interior Mex food in Lawrence restaurants.

From the time we walked in we felt comfortable here. The food and service was excellent!! Someone was always checking on us to see if we needed anything or if something was out of place . Laid back atmosphere, no judgement on anyone here as we are Harley riders . Very nice Mothers Day late lunch early dinner!!! Will return

The chips and salsa were ok. I had a taco, chalupa, rice and beans. Taco-0 stars Chalupa-2 stars Rice- 1 Beans -4I don't normally post bad reviews but I wish I knew the food was not the best walking in. My fiancé ordered a torta and it was ALL bread, not to much meat.We might have went on a bad day. But I won't be returning.

Honestly this place is fair at best. They brought us chips and salsa. Some of the chips were past their prime. Some were just fine. Their regular salsa seems fresh but is bland. Their spicy salsa was good and honestly the best part of the the meal. I had the lunch fajitas and the meat was a bit over cooked and the veggies were vey much over cooked. The eve and we're pretty good but nothing special. The rice was generic "Mexican rice" my husband had combo 6 and dais it was simply ok. We don't live close so we definitely will not make a special trip to eat here. Since there is a half dozen other Mexican restaurants to choose from in the same area I don't see us returning. It was 1:30 Saturday afternoon and we were 1 of 3 tables there. This should have been our first clue .

We were drawn in by the utilization of a coupon but I'm glad we did, the restaurant was not busy but I did see a constant flow of to go food I particularly liked it because I had to speak Spanish in fact I might go back there just to speak Spanish and have a drink, on their taco Tuesdays which are street tacos for $1.99. have the enchilada supremas which are very flavorful the enchilada sauce was exceptional. My dining companion had the Vallarta platter and there was so much food there there's enough leftovers for two meals the flavors were great. If you like spicy salsa do ask for it it's an incredible green sauce that they bring you in a squeeze bottle it's kind of different and cute.

Bohemio took over the space when Fonda Mexicana vacated last year after they had replaced the long running Sol Azteca. Better luck to Bohemio while competing with the ever popular California Taqueria across the street.I went with the street tacos today - 3 Asada and a bowl of cheese dip with the complimentary chips and salsa. The tacos came with the obligatory cilantro and onions and a side serving of lettuce, chopped tomatoes and a dollop of sour cream. That was a first for eating street tacos, purists be damned, but it worked. It was a great little combination to offset the sweet heat of the green sauce provided. Since I had bastardized the Asada with the sour cream, I went ahead and drizzled some cheese dip across the overflowing corn tortilla for the full Tex-Mex misdemeanor. Without guilt or further excuses - it was great! Tacos are $3 each, but plenty of meat, efficient waitress service and free chips and good salsa. No qualms about returning.
