Blues To Bach Music Center

Great local music store with lessons. The owners are there all the time and are so helpful and personable. The store is very family friendly as well. They offer all kinds of instrument/voice lessons and instruments for rent too! I love spending my money locally and love that it comes with such great service in a welcoming atmosphere!

Going into this place is why people don't want to learn to play musical instruments any more. We asked if our old guitar could be re-strung and the clerk's immediate reaction was a very condescending "look at the action on that thing." The conversation then turned to a manager telling my 9 year old daughter that she "would die" if she tried to play a guitar in that condition. I admit that I not musically inclined but that doesn't mean these guys need to treat us like morons. Stay classy, Blues to Bach.

Mike is a kick-ass guitar tech. He is the only guy that touches any of my guitars. Great with special projects and unusual requests. Prices are very reasonable. He is quick to address / resolve any questions or issues.

Nothing but good things before our last visit... Kojak was definitely having a bad morning with his lack of patience... I didn't know what my son was up to but he let out a primal scream and scared my boy which made him cry... I asked him what did my son do and he told me with an attitude of superiority that my son was trying to bend HIS guitar stand... without saying a word we got up and left at the suggestion of my wife because if I wasn't happy with his respond to me... that dude should not be working with the public with that shitty attitude... I am sure we were not the first he does this to unless he is racist and saw us as non white... Too bad because the teacher was rather pleasant... will never return again

Mike must of had a off day two times in a row. Not trying to bash mike I am sure he is good. That being said he must of had a bad day because my brand new guitar I took to a professional to be set up is ruined. The nut was filed way to deep and strings 3,4,5and 6 all buzz until I get to the 6th fret. I took it back and he looked at it and told me it was a fender made in China what did I expect. I am not a professional I am trying to learn to play but now my guitar sounds like crap

I'm a noob bass player that needed his bass set up and restrung. Took it to BtB in the morning and it was ready before 4PM. The tech took the time to ask me some questions first, told me what he thought needed done and he did it. He did several other things (included in the very reasonable cost) that made by bass look good and play great. I took my first bass to him, it was a $50 garage sale special. He could have jacked with me, but rather told me that it would be cheaper to buy a new one than try to get it fixed up. He also gave me some advice at the time that helped me decide which type of bass to get and a few to stay away from. Couldn't be happier unless it all was done for free. Will use them in the future!

Ive come here as a little kid and ive always loved it! The people here are very nice and will help you with your musical talent
