Billie's is one of our favorite spots to visit. I got the Reuben this time but I also like their breakfast options like the B and G's bowl and brekki bowl, dunno if I spelled those right. My girlfriend really likes the lazy sushi bowl. And then for the bakery, my girlfriend likes the sugar cookies and I like trying new things. Oh and they have Bon bon gummies and other snacks. The employees are always great and it's a casual, modern, but comfy environment.

I was searching for gluten free frosted sugar cookies for a baby shower and found them at Billie's Grocery. I wasn't able to get them in custom shapes but they used the colors I asked for and even added star sprinkles because I told them the theme was stars and moons. They were a huge hit! Everyone loved them, especially the mom-to-be and they went perfectly with the party decor so I was very happy. Thank you Billie's!

Though the parking was very packed, since it was Saturday early, I should have expected it. It was a little crowded and intimidating when I first arrived, and I was really perplexed about the ordering process and where I should go to place an order. But after trailing the crowd of people, I noticed the ordering line exactly opposite my direction of entrance. The employee who took my order as well as my friend, was quite friendly and nice when it came time to place it. Since they were out of a specific item I had requested for, he was also quite helpful during our order process and even recommended an other choice to what I was getting. After making our order and receiving a number, we had to walk through the entire restaurant to find a seat, which was even more overwhelming and difficult. We ultimately spotted a table and asked a staff member if they could help us clear it so we could use it. We sat and waited for our orders to arrive. I opted for the Salmon Mezze Bowl, which was recommended by the staff who took our order. He said it was comparable to the smoked salmon bagel, but in the form of a salad, which was accurate. It proved to be a much healthier option, and just what I needed at the time. I also ordered the detox smoothie, which is not seen in this photo. It lived up to its given title without question. Although it won't be my go-to drink, it was certainly refreshing and precisely what I needed at the time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend visiting this location. However, if you don't like being swamped and crowded, I'd recommend visiting on a regular weekday or after the holidays to dial down the frenzy, or even coming with some excellent company to chat with while you wait!

Believe it or not, this corner of Ranchmart used to be home to bowling alleys, a pool hall, and the smoke of about a hundred Marlboro reds firing off at the same time. Oh how times (and health?) have changed. It's now a sleek, modern, LA-meets-suburbs feeling Billie's Grocery. It's perfect for the area, IMO. Before I do my deep dive into what I like here, I have to say the prices are always about 20% more than what I'd used to expect for a healthy lunch, so this is a "sometimes" spot for me. A lot of the ingredients are things I have or could make at home, they just happen to make it.. way better. Ok so with that caveat, the food is good. I've been to the Hyde Park location several times and enjoyed many things, but on this day in Leawood, I tried a simple sounding grilled chicken caesar salad. This was far from simple though; the chicken had that distinctive smokey, grilled flavor. The salad was not overdressed but popped with flavor. There were chickpeas, grilled romaine lettuce, and kale mixed in as well. It was fantastic.Service was nice. My only old-man gripe is that it's not really full service, but kinda half to quarter service? Like, they'll bring your food, but not the utensils. It's up to you to bus your table, but you tip 20% when you pay. I kinda wish this process was streamlined more across the board but it's a minor quibble at the end of the day. They also carry and make some nice drinks to go with it; some adaptogen style drinks, some with CBD, but on this day I got a mango black tea that was perfect.

Took my daughter who is health conscientious for a dinner during the holiday break. We agreed upon the spring roll bowl and the Korean chicken wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The rap was our favorite of the two very fresh with a spicy sauce. Spring roll wrap had pickled cucumbers on it, which were very overpowering. I would recommend more mushrooms and less cucumbers. We shared a cilantro lime cookie(loved the tartness but needed more cilantro), Twix bar (not very sweet) & our favorite, millionaire tahini bar. This is my first experience having tahini, and this bar knocked it out of the park!

This was my first time thing out the Leawood location and was hoping for a redemption from the midtown one. I would definitely say the service here was much better than the last time I went to the midtown location. Service was very nice, and the food was brought to you. The servers also bussed for you. Ambiance was nice, lots of light, big space and lots of tables. Possibly good for studying but I didn't see many outlets. They sell local items and some other popular brands like Momofuku. Food was good, clean. We both got breakfast items, one carrot cake cupcake and a blackberry almond tart. We got Turkish eggs + grilled halloumi and beet hummus avocado toast. For all the desserts being gluten free, they were all flavorful and good!

I had an awesome lunch here with a friend. I love that they have so many great dishes for around $15 or under, especially for brunch. I had the steak and eggs. Every single ingredient was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The steak was tender and potatoes were absolutely perfectly crispy. It's pretty busy, which is especially fair around the holidays, but between the line and waiting for the food, nothing took too long. I hadn't tried before but my friend loves their cookies and there's so many bakery items for anyone to enjoy. There was plenty of parking around the building.

This is such a cute place! Lots of options for breakfast, pastries, cakes (wow they look amazing). The owner is so sweet and took a large group of kids around and showed them behind the scenes of the bakery. This is a huge space for all size groups and it is beautiful! Can't wait to go back and try more!
