Big Dick's Halfway Inn

Had to come here for the name alone. It's a neat little joint right off the water. Service was great. Staff was friendly. Great place to look over the water and have a beer with some friends. The gift shop is awesome. Lots of references to the name of the bar.It's definitely worth the visit if you're in this neck of the woods.

I really wanted to get a beer here but it was way too early in the morning and they weren't yet open or serving at 10am. I mean, the name alone.Big Dick's Halfway Inn is located on a branch of the Lake of the Ozarks, a reservoir that would otherwise be the Osage River but was created by the impoundment at the Bagnell Dam. There is a boat dock here at Big Dick's but it is also accessible at the end of a five mile twisting country road that was an enjoyable drive today.They're known for "minnow shots" and no, there's no way I'm ingesting a live fish.[Review 19756 overall - 233 in Missouri - 728 of 2023.]

Quaint little place on the Lake of the Ozarks. Here for my birthday, service was spot on . Only menu items was for 5th of May celebration. Fully loaded Nachos are the bomb. Tacos were good too. Would've thought they'd be more people here. From the outside you'd of thought the place would've been bigger!! ( that's what she said)

Best bar with old school feel on the lake. The food was excellent starting with appetizers and the meals and drinks. The service was excellent, timely and friendly. This is a must have at Lake of Ozarks

When it comes to a great stop on the water, it is hard to beat Big Dicks Halfway Inn. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and the drinks are ice cold. Plus, unlike some waterfront restaurants, they don't mark up all the prices to take advantage of the fact. There is no question of why this place has been nailing it year after year!

Hence the name, their mascot is quite charming and funny. Wouldn't think to stop by at a place like this, but it was near the waterfront and it was getting late after our drive from the city. We was getting hungry and this place was conveniently close by from the lakehouse. Came in on a Friday night and the place was packed with people especially from the outside. We were seated right away inside though. Staff were friendly and attentive. We order some large meatlover and supreme pizzas. It was decent size and price. It was delicious and thin. Perfect for a late munchies. Oh the restroom here is pot o potties, warning for those who can't hold it.

We love coming here as it's like 5 minutes from our cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks! They don't have a huge menu but they do add new things to it. And of course take things off. I think they might do a smaller menu on summer cuz it's easier for the busy season. It is an older restaurant/bar. Been around for years. I have been going there since I was a kid. I got these delicious coconut shrimp tacos. Drinks are good and you can also take a minnow shot. Not for everyone of course. I got a cherry limeade cocktail and lake water cocktail. So good! The lake water cocktail was such a refreshing summer drink and a pretty green color. There is a lot of outdoor seating and some inside. They have a gift shop as well. It's been awhile since I bought anything.Warning, the drink menu has some names on it that are related to name of bar, which is "dick." Such as wet pu$$y, G Spot and more. Haha. So might want to keep that menu away from little ones. A few items on actual menu are little silly too.

Great spot, atmosphere, service and food!! We'll make this a regular place to visit!

Great hamburgers! This is a fun lake bar with decent food but they do allow smoking so we don't go often. Check out the gift shop upstairs and partake in the lake tradition of Shooting the Minnow!
