It's always a great Saturday at Bichelmeyers. We came for the tacos that are only served on Saturday. I got one pastor taco, one taco here is the equivalent to about three at a normal shop, order accordingly! We also picked up some chorizo and brisket, can't go wrong.

My wife and I came here on a Saturday morning to get some of the tacos that are sold here then and we are so glad we did! We got 5 huge tacos- carnitas, carne Asada, chicken tinga, pulled beef, and al pastor. All of them were great and the portions were HUGE. We actually took half the meat from each taco and created another meal for the next day with some fresh tortillas! This place is a wonderful value and we will definitely be back!

Bichelmeyer's is a multi-generational butcher shop offering a wide assortment of prime meats: beef, poultry and lamb. Although we've served their meats for special occasions, this was my first visit to their store to place an order. It reminds me of a classic old-school butcher shop I used to visit as a youngster many years ago. The first thing you notice when you enter is the massive display case of meats. It must be 50 feet long. It's important that you head to the center to pull a number as it gets busy. I arrived around Noon on a Tuesday, pulled number 72 and they were serving customer 60. After about 20 minutes, it was my time to order. I ordered a six pound beef tenderloin roast and the butcher offered to trim it, which saved my wife lots of time when preparing the meat for cooking. We've been impressed by everything we've purchased from Bichelmeyer's. It provides exceptional quality meat like you'd find at Kansas City's best restaurants.

Our group bought several quesadillas and some tacos. There was a line so we figured it was a popular place and probably good. The food was alright however $5 for a taco seems a bit much. There were no salsa bar as stated in previous reviews. We were provided with one sauce cup per order and any more was extra.

Dogshit meats. Ordered ribeyes and the cuts these clowns gave at $20/lb weren't worth half that. Zero marbling, oversized fat cap just straight up trash-ass level cuts. Incredible that these guys would serve this bullshit. Aldo legitimately.has better options. Horrid and embarrassing. Could have found better steaks at Winsteads or Outback Steakhouse. Just straight up garbage.

My father wanted to roast a pig for his 92nd birthday - said he has been wanting to do it all his life. I came to these guys for some guidance. They set me up very nicely with instructions on how to do it. My father had a blast. Thank you for such excellent customer service.
