Between 2 Buns

The Between 2 Buns food truck serves the KC metro area. I ran into them at an event in Leawood. The service was welcoming, friendly, and fast (3 minute wait), and the menu had popular items - burgers, tacos, and fries. Flavored ice was also available, and it was popular with kiddos.My all American cheese burger ($8 including tax) had a somewhat smallish diameter, but stood pretty high when assembled (3.5" w x 2.5" h). The beef was tasty and juicy, the toppings were top notch and fresh, and the bun was okay. The patty was just slightly overcooked for my taste because of some crunchy critters on the exterior.The menu board could have been more detailed - what is on a pig out burger or a z-burger? Also, napkins would be nice. They accept credit cards.

Saw these guys yesterday at the Lenexa Art Fair. Excellent service, but the food is super mediocre. We split the jalapeño/cream cheese burger and the mac & cheese bombs (fried balls of mac & cheese w. panko)- the bombs were flavorless. The small burger was a thin, overcooked one with a standard bun and.... jalapeño cream cheese. It wasn't bad food, it was just uninspired and a little bland. And expensive, at $14 for both.

Had a crispy chicken wrap at the Belton summer fest, it had absolutely no taste at all. The dressing on it was so watery and there wasn't any cheese. I asked my husband to try it and he described it as "eating crunchy air"
