BC Bistro

BC Bistro has been a Northland staple since 2014, but somehow, my wife and I only just made our first visit. What an oversight!We love supporting local restaurants, and this husband-and-wife-run gem has clearly built a devoted following--for good reason. The team-service approach meant we were always well taken care of, and the menu? Extensive and enticing, with everything from fresh salads and hearty sandwiches to flavorful pastas and tempting daily specials.Our meals did not disappoint--the Crab Crusted Salmon and Chicken Fried Chicken were both delicious and served up fast. And just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, the Bread Pudding arrived. Spectacular.We'll definitely be back--next time, much sooner!

I tried BC Bistro last year, and I rated it 3/5. It wasn't bad; it just didn't blow me away. Well, I recently revisited BC Bistro, and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the BBQ nachos, and my friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The BBQ nachos were pretty good, albeit a tiny bit too sweet. The fried chicken sandwich was tasty. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert, but I think I'd order something else next time. Overall, I would go back!

It was busy the night we visited with my wife's sister and her husband, but we got in with maybe a 20 minute wait. My BC burger was great, and my bro-in-law enjoyed his ziti. My wife got a salad as she does everywhere and said it was good.An interesting place: wine recommendations with the entrees, and TVs on the wall showing sporting events. The staff was very friendly and the desserts excellent.

This is a very unassuming place in a strip mall. It is a comfortable space with tables and chairs. A booth would have been nice but they are making the best use of their space.I started my dinner with a Cinnamon Apple Moscow Mule. It was warm and amazing. My girlfriend a Raspberry Bramble. It was equally good.We were pretty hungry so we ordered a Bruschetta appetizer while we weighed all of the menu options. The bread was soft and fully loaded with mozzarella pearls and halved grape tomatoes. It had the right amount of balsamic on it. I chose the Balsamic Chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and the fettucine was cooked perfectly. The pesto cream sauce was delightful and it was just the right amount. My girlfriend ordered the Spicy Shrimp. She subbed out the rice for pepper jack mac. The waitress warned her that the shrimp was really spicy. She wasn't wrong. If the shrimp had just been "glazed" with mango habanero it might have been good but they fully loaded the plate with the sauce. No complaints but she was glad she thankful for the coolness of the mac and cheese. They serve by committee here and everyone takes their job seriously. Every single server who came to our table was super pleasant and they kept our table cleared of empty dishes. We will definitely be back here.

BC Bistro offers excellent hospitality and a diverse menu filled with delicious options. The atmosphere is casual, and it's well-suited for accommodating large groups or families. Our server was attentive and offered great recommendations.We started with the Brisket Nachos to share, and the portion was generous--perfect for sharing. The brisket was tender, and each chip was loaded with flavorful nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole, jalapeños, and more.For my entrée, I had the Seafood Pasta, which featured a mix of shrimp, scallops, lump crab, spinach, tomatoes, and cheeses. It was tasty, though a bit too watery for my preference, but the flavor remained excellent overall.

This place was great! We came at 1030am, and were able to order from both the brunch and regular menu. Service was great!! The restaurant was clean, organized and TVs all over to watch Saturday college football. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and fell in love!!! I ordered the hot honey chicken and let me tell you- it was some of the BEST chicken I've ever eaten!! I highly recommend checking them out!!!

This was our first visit. My husband ordered the salmon special, and I chose the Meaty Ziti. Both were delicious, generous portions. Service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed. I brought a piece of cheesecake home for later. We will be back!

The BC Bistro really IS as good as its glowing reviews! (ignore the one reviewer who obviously didn't even go there.) We went early on a Friday evening. The parking lot was full and people were waiting outside and inside. I was very glad we had made an advance reservation!The food and service both get 5 very enthusiastic stars! I recommend checking out the enticing food photos, reviews, menu, and their website before going, so you have SOME idea before you arrive of what you might want amongst the many delicious offerings.lThe prices are very reasonable, and there are daily specials. This unassuming-looking Bistro in an unassuming little strip mall off the beaten path is an absolute treasure! There's a very appealing friendly atmosphere, the employees were great, and the 3 of us agreed the food was wonderful. The servings were larger than expected, and there was NO WAY we were going to leave any of the deliciousness behind, We actually went and bought a bag of ice to preserve our leftovers because we weren't going to be near refrigeration anytime soon! Even though it's a bit out of the way from KC proper, and especially from our place in Overland Park south, I plan on many return trips because there are several delicious-sounding menu items and DESSERTS we still want to try! If you happen to love bread pudding, as I do, one serving could be a meal! And they rotate taste-tempting cheesecake options, like the mango-pineapple and strawberry available on this day.

The food it Great and the Service and the Ambiance is really great as well. They sit you down at a seat like in like two seconds and you walk in you tell him how many people you have and they just give you your menu you look at it you just get it and then what you don't need is what you don't eat and then you could take it home if you are not finished with the food that you ate they're at BC Bistro and then you could probably get dessert. I don't know if they have, sir, but all I know that this place has gotten good reviews sometimes bad reviews I don't know but I would recommend everybody to try this place out. It's got really good food. It's got really good service. They say you gonna see and you just wait for your food. I don't think it takes a long time, but I did have to wait a long time but they bring you out your food. Your drinks that you want and then after you get after you want to get your train with your food or whatever you gotta get there and then after you get done eating, you can just do whatever you need to do and go back home chill and then if you get hungry later, you can eat your food that's what this place is all about you take your food to go and then you go home then if you want your food later, you can have your food later you know whatever you want to do With your Food That you ate before you got finished eating there Thanks that's all I have to say about this place :)
