Barrigas Mexican Grill and Cantina

This might be the best Mexican restaurant in Missouri. As a Greenwood native, I am proud to say that although we are not home to much, we are home to Barrigas. The atmosphere is "mess around with the buds" and is a perfect spot to bring friends and family. The food is fantastic. It doesn't even matter what you order. Also, the service is usually awesome and the workers are very kind. Although it may sound like every other Mexican restaurant, it is not. You wont know until you go!

went a couple months back but the food was great. The servers were attentive and they had different games playing on the TVs. It was a bit dark in there and seemed like you had to walk to a back room for the dining area. Overall, this is pretty good and if you're in the area i recommend.

Good food and good service! I would recommend the fish tacos and the crunchy chicken tacos

Barrigas is a great local spot for delicious Mexican food. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is a pretty basic small midwestern town Mexican restaurant, and the service is pretty good. The prices are reasonable. My family and I have frequented this place for years.

Great staff and very friendly. Food is pretty authentic and the staff has many follow-ups for wonderful service. Wife's favorite is the Spinach Enchiladas and my go to is the Burrito Fundido filled with shredded pork!!

Really good food and Margarita's what variety! Great people! Not much to look at from outside, but it is the food that counts! Go getcha some! Salsa is amazing!

Place is Gas!!I eat here quite often is a good way to support a smaller business. There food is way better than other biggger chained me can restaurants near by. I would much rather have this than El Porto for sure.

Food was just OK. Shrimp tacos pretty good. Kids meals bonus special tonight for $3/each and they are nice size helpings. The kids ate well. Personally I would of like to seen at least the tortillas ( chicken burrito) cooked. They were fresh out of packaging, filled, rolled, put on plate with cheese sauce poured over. Very doughy tasting, nearly impossible to cut. Rice was good, fries were good. Spinach & chicken enchiladas came minus the chicken and spinach definitely not fresh but canned. Black beans terrible, again straight out of can, luke warm, no spice, no flavor at all. I left hungry. Had to get up twice to ask for service. Not busy as we dined about 4:30 our waiter was just nowhere to be found. Inside is roomy, plenty of seating, bar area.

We go there all the time. The staff are all very kind. The drinks are great. Food is quick and affordable. Locally family owned and operated.
