Not the best buffet. Some of the food was cold. But the big thing is Roaches!! Seen about 5 baby roaches crawling up the wall by where i was eating. Yuk!

since moving back to Missouri in 2019 I've noticed this place has really gone down hill with their food quality. still only take out no buffet yet since covid hit.. kind of odd since most of the other places have opened theirs. the take out food is super sub par rice is always mushy.. the noodles are always changing styles and taste horrible. chicken ehh its okay.

I can't enter the city limits of Lamar, MO without insisting on a visit to Bamboo House for take-out. I've even converted my doubting husband to the glories of southwest Missouri's famous Springfield style cashew chicken (and here, it's just cashew - done right). The crab rangoon have gotten a bit less plentiful than in the past - lots of wonton, very little filling :( But I shan't be avoiding its doors for such reasons. The cashew and sweet & sour will keep me coming back for more!

Had the kung po chicken as takeout. I can't say how this place is when eating in, but the takeout was great. Fast, inexpensive, and flavorful with a good mix of vegetables. You should order extra rice since they don't include a lot.

Called ahead to order and I couldn't understand the lady AT ALL. And she hung up on me TWICE after I asked some questions on how they cook their food. Just very disrespectful, and how do they expect business when they hang up on their customers because they can't answer a question.

unfortunately, they do not have a buffet since covid, but their take out is really good. crab rangoons are the best thing on the menu for sure. the service is always good as the workers are super nice. their chicken dishes are bomb. recommend this place for sure.

I ate here at a family dinner honoring my son and his bride. The chef made a dish exactly the way I wanted it. The talk at the table was chicken low min. acashew chicken was mentioned. They will make it how you want it just ask, you want it spicey or more garlic, peas or onions they aim too please.Everyone in our group commented about the quality of the food and service, good time was had by all
