Lovely winery! I was able to make a stop here on my most recent trip to the bread basket from Las Vegas. The shop is intricately decorated with gifts and the like, but most importantly, the wine is fantastic.I tried a 2011 Norton Reserve--french oak aged, a Joli Vin, Arrowhead Red--sweet concord (by far the best). The Norton had a very dry pepper flavor. It certainly wasn't my most favorite dry red I've ever tasted, but it would've complimented a steak quite nice. The Arrowhead Red was unbelievable; very sweet jam flavor--definately a must try! I'd love to come back here when I have more time, and taste more wine. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

A winery off the beaten path, but you'll be glad you traveled it when you taste the silky goodness of their wines. Downside, they only let you try 6 so I still have yet to try all their wines. Unfortunate for them as they miss out on sales if patrons are not knowing what they are missing, but...out of the wines I have tried, it's always been a struggle to pick which ones to take home. Love the winery cats too! The Norton is one of my top favorites so far!

I've been driving past Baltimore Bend for years, and while it would normally seem like a good idea to drop in at a winery on the way back from my company's headquarters, I've never quite mustered up the energy. The stop may be harder to resist now that I've actually been there. They have a great selection of wines, from sweet to dry. It was warm the day I went, so I was tending more towards the whites and roses. The servers were very friendly and very helpful. I am a dry wine drinker and my mom is a sweet wine drinker, and they got us both set up comfortably. They also have a wide variety of wine-related gifts, which were fun to browse. And, I mean, winery cats. (I swear, I'm going to start a list called "Winery Cats Across the Country.")Between the wineries and the fruit/vegetable stands, I highly recommend the trip down 24 to check out all the area has to offer.

This was very nice winery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wines were very good. I would recommend stopping for a taste and a bottle of wine. I don't normally drink dry or semi sweet, but loved them.

They have the best wine in Missouri, peaceful location away from the hectic city noise and frenetic activity. Their Arrow Head Red is the best sweet wine I have ever tasted. No snobbery ! Just good wine and friendly people. They are located in the heart of Missouri's best orchard and vineyard country along the Missouri River. We enjoy the trip at least once a year. We visit and enjoy the orchards in MO, but our favorite places are Baltimore Bend, Hickory Ridge in Mexico, MO, and Fahrmeier Family Vineyards in Lexington, MO.

This is one of my very favorite wineries in eastern Missouri. It is about a 40-45 minute drive east on 24 highway to Waverly. The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are usually greeted by the mayor herself, Barbara Shrieman, who helps manage the tasting room. My favorites are C2 (red) and Trey Blanc (White), but enjoy most all of their wines. Their seasonal Kris Kringle is a fun holiday choice for a semi-sweet wine with a just a slight hint of cinnamon. It is a fun day trip to the country from Independence or Blue Springs! Keep my wine cooler stocked and it always has some BB wine in it.

Amazing winery! The Norton reserve 2017 is to die for. Oak flavor is apparent but not overwhelming. So good. As is the Waverly Port. Great with dark chocolate. Go for a tasting and you will be sold!!

It's okay. A little off the beaten path. We drove 40 minutes to get there. I wouldn't go back.
