Bally’s - Kansas City

I think I was generous last time of giving this a 3 star. I give this place more of a 2 star. Bally's is going through major renovations with the property. Not so sure if they are delaying this as this looks the same as I last saw this. The security at Bally's was really friendly and nice. However, the rest of the staff seems not to care as much and customer service needs more. Reminds of Shreveport especially at the casino cage as when you want to get your change, no one is there to help out. I remember the machine at Jin Long 888 took my money and I wanted 20 minutes until I went to the casino cage and asked for help and the tech was inside, but they were changing shifts at the time.The bathrooms were disgusting as well and needed to be cleaned. It was early in the morning and usually casinos clean the bathrooms from last night or on a regular basis.Besides those down falls I went to the same machine that paid me well last time and it certainly did, but of course I did sink $200 dollars into the machine before getting $277 dollars back. I played other games, but the bonuses were not hitting. I did not play as much as I did loose around 1 thousand the last time I was here within 2 hours which is fast in my book as no bonuses were hitting. But I learned my lesson this time and did not play much. I think I spent most of my time waiting for the attendant.Machine wise, they do have a nice selection and updated the machines last time I went. The good news is they did merge their cards as my Bally's from Shrevport status carried over to here so I am at the next level.

What a dump! And I don't care that smoking is allowed if they would just clean up.1. No promotions for new players?? Absolute trash! Should've walked out right then.2. There's more ashtrays than slot machines.3. No one cleans up the ashes all over the machines, tables, and chairs! You literally have to either wipe the ashes away or plan to have a gray and dirty ass.4. Half the slots either don't work, the wireless chargers don't work, they're cracked like someone slammed their fist down, or they're missing chairs. Seriously, there are more slots than chairs available. I could've stacked up all the extra ashtrays and sat on them, I guess.5. Finally, the chairs they do have to sit at have rips, cigarette burns, or, like previously mentioned, are covered in ashes.Oh, add that it's in a shady area of town. It is barely lit up outside, and ladies, you may want to hold your purses very tightly.I will never be back. Absolute dump!

We stopped in on a whim last night for a late night drink and to try our luck. This was our first time stopping in the casino after the renovation. It was a bit underwhelming. The building itself is gorgeous, but the casino floor still felt a bit dated. The seating was chipped throughout and the floor consisted of mostly slot machines. The tiki bar had great service and the drinks were good.

Sent me free play offers in the mail, went in to claim the $30 free play tonight and the kiosk said there wasn't any promos today.

Stopped here on a Friday night looking to play some table roulette while in town. On a FRIDAY night there was no live roulette. FRIDAY NIGHT. I like the look, security was nice, but if on a FRIDAY NIGHT you have the only roulette table shuttered - you get a one-star. Too many other casino options to waste your time here.

Worst security on the planet. Ryan ( so called head of security) should talk to customers instead of taking the word of their rude slot attendants . This guy needs to learn how to interact with customers. Words cannot describe the lack of people skills this so called security guard has ...... Walmart in his future!!!!!

The electric roulette glitched and bet 6.50 on red. Lost all my money. Services was not helpful at all and said I made the bet myself. Do not come here

Warning: not connected to the actual Bally's. They only lease the name. Everything, including broken fixtures, came from the old Isle of Capri operation.The air quality is TERRIBLE. Much worse than any modern casino, which is odd, since I thought it was a newer building. No non-smoking areas, at all! Video poker machines are in need of repair and the stools all have torn vinyl. Employees not well trained. For a decent video poker experience, only Harrah's KC is worth a visit.

BUFFALOOOOOOO!!! lol by far one of my favorite games here, giving it five stars because i hadn't gone to a casino ever before until just recently and i chose this one so its special to me now i guess

i'm not sure where they spent their money on this renovation. It's nasty and the smoke is so bad i couldn't event breathe.
