Bailey’s Irish Pub

This was the cutest hidden gem. I loved how small it was, the decor, the little bathrooms, etc. I wanted to love everything about it. However, it is a great place for a drink, but not a great place for a meal! We started with appetizers that had pieces of what looked like fish or chicken mixed into it. Yuck. Not appetizing. We ordered the corned beef and cabbage as well as the bangers and mash for our main meal. Nope, nope, nope. The corned beef was shiny like oil and basically sliced deli meat. My corned beef and potatoes were both cold. Just gross. The cabbage had no flavor. The sausages were split in half and again cold potatoes with that dish. This may be a local favorite as there were a lot of locals there, but the food is questionable and not a place I'd ever grab a meal at again.

Came on Sunday early afternoon. Alex D. was our server. Ordered Irish Kegs as an appetizer, Bangers and mash, Fish and chips, sweet tea, Guinness, and for dessert bread pudding. In another review someone described the Irish Kegs as large tots with seasoning and goodness... that is a perfect way to describe them. Bangers and mash is sausage, mash potatoes, cabbage, a slice of toast, and a side of some kind of delicious sauce. The fish was fantastically breaded and plated on top of the fries which prevented it from getting soggy and keeping the crisp. Bread pudding was mouth watering. The food absolutely blew me away. Our server, Alex, was amazing. She made the experience absolutely fantastic.

Very good fried cheeee curds. Had the Rueben. Loved it all. Would definitely go back. They were out of prime rib which made me sad. Have to go back to try again.

The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS and FRESH!! Great service, good laughs and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy!

I came in with higher expectations from other Yelp reviewers. I sat on the patio and had a couple of beers and the spicy cheese curds. The spicy cheese curds had more spice than I was expecting but were not overly hot. I ordered two entrees to go. The bacon cheeseburger was moist, but the portion of fries was paltry. The bangers and mash was ok. I would order the former again but definitely not the latter. They tacked on a surcharge for taking food to go but didn't provide any utensils, napkins, etc. The patio was nice but had plenty of flies.

I'm a lifelong resident of this area. I had my reservations about trying this place due to the location and size. However, it's been there for a few minutes (years) so I suggested it to my husband and we went. We must have come on an off day. The place IS small, but there were a few rowdies in the place (a party just ended), and it was very loud..plus some lady kept yelling in the kitchen, which was right behind us. Anyway, they all cleared out, and it got better. I ordered the Shepards pie, and hubby got fish and chips. His looked nice, but my cabbage side got dumped on the table when she put it down. She apologized and got me another batch, and it was good. The pie, however, left much to be desired. You can see what it says in the photo. There WEREN'T ANY vegetables or ANY thick gravy. Just ground beef with mashed potatoes and cheese (I added) on top. Also, NO bread!!! The more we ate, the more I got upset and my husband was upset that they got that meal so wrong. I was sorry I recommended the place. Seems like it's just a local club for regulars to frequent. The only thing I really liked were the bathrooms. Very old, kitschy, and unusual. (I ilke that stuff.) It's just unfortunate that the rest of it was an unremarkable experience.

Great staff and the food was excellent. The Shepherds Pie was some of the best I've ever had. Great little spot!

Our go-to every time we visit Leavenworth. Good food and drinks, nice staff, and good conversation.

This has become our go to when in Leavenworth. We have tried several menu items and have been pleased with all the options.But the absolute best ending was the tuxedo bomb. So yummy. I would suggest the Shepard pie but save room for dessert. Service was great. Very small restaurant but worth the wait and close quarters. Seems like a good place to be a regular customer.

Was the first time at Bailey's Irish Pub. Very quaint pub with outdoor seating also. Husband and I both got burgers they were good and I also got the fried mushrooms. They don't have cocktail sauce but have all the ingredients you need to make your own horseradish and ketchup. I would like to thank the owner for not skimping on the condiments and carrying Hines ketchup and Heinz mustard. The fried mushrooms were excellent and they brought ranch dressing out with them, and I ended up using the ranch dressing more than the homemade cocktail sauce. if I could the ranch dressing I would,it was very good. The only thing I would change, we got cheddar cheese on our burgers. They didn't have sliced cheddar cheese. They had the shredded cheddar cheese, but that's just a little thing .We will definitely come back. The waitress we had was excellent very attentive, got our food correct check back on us several times you don't find good service like that always so we were very appreciative of her service. I forgot her name my apologies but we will definitely come back and yes, I would definitely recommend going to this pub.
