I thoroughly enjoy having a mainstream movie theater downtown! The B&B isn't huge, but they typically show all the movies I want to see! The B&B is conveniently located directly at the Power & Light streetcar stop, but you can also get up to 4 hours of parking validated for the Cosentino's parking garage across Main St. The cost of movie tickets continues to rise, but I'm willing to pay for convenience. They also have $6 tickets on Treat Yourself Tuesday for loyalty program members! This is kind of an idea date situation -- you're close to food & drinks downtown, and then hop on the streetcar to see a movie! Johnnie's Jazz bar is located in the lobby for live music, food, and drinks as well!

The staff was nice but the food wait was terrible! I stood in line for over 45 minutes with a number of people waiting for 1 Hot Dog and 1 hamburger! It wasn't anything too hard to cook up! This was actually the second time my wife and I had to wait on a food order for over an hour! The first time my wife didn't get what she ordered and we ended up going to a restaurant across the street to purchase food! I don't think we will be going back! Again nice staff but absolutely terrible food service!

You show up to the theatre and buy tickets. Ok. The people behind the counter already don't care. You order popcorn. Oh, hang on we have to make the popcorn. Bear in mind the movie starts in 5 minutes. Oh, you want a burger? ... 20 minutes later still waiting. Want to get the atttention of the one person still visible out front? You're going to have to talk loudly so they can hear you over the noise cancelling ear buds they are wearing. There does not appear to be any intent to remain in business happening here.Update: burger finally comes out only after I ask again where my burger is. It's cold. And obviously was cooked yesterday. Bun is crispy. Also cold. Like cardboard. This place is awful.

Came at 11:20 for an 11:50 movie. They weren't open yet and we had to wait outside. When we got in, we were greeted. The escalators were broken and the bar is closed. They also didn't have any food up or ready such as popcorn or nachos. The employees were all still walking into work as they were opening. For being the first people in here, the theater was dirty, there was popcorn all over the floor and escalator, the floors were sticky and my flip flops stuck as I walked. The bathroom wrecked of urine. I'm not sure if last nights shift didn't clean before leaving as they should have or if it's always this filthy and they just don't care. Pros: staff were kind and the seats recline with trays to put food on (if it were available). Also theaters are tiny (about 30 seats a theater). Honestly go to the AMC on Ward Parkway, they are prepared and ready to go before opening and are much cleaner.

We came to see Deadpool movie and was really impressed with this theater. Location is great and the inside is really nice. Bathrooms were so clean and I love how each stall has a sink and dryer to wash your hands. The max relax seats were perfect for a later film and they have heating options.

I love this little theatre. It's never too busy (aside from the Barbie movie release lol), seems to always be fresh popcorn, seats are comfortable, and the price is right on Tuesdays! There's quite a few negative reviews specifically mentioning high prices -- I definitely recommend downloading the B&B app and joining their loyalty program (its free!). They have treat yourself Tuesdays for members: tix start at $6, and you get 50% off popcorn and drinks.

Here from out of town for work and we decided to catch a movie for team building. Decided on Deadpool and Wolverine (which was amazing)! Ticket prices are fine. Food prices are fine BUT wait times to get food are ridiculous and the theater was not crowded at all! 2 soft pretzels took in excess of 15 minutes which made me late for my movie. Was clearly understaffed and the ones there weren't very friendly. You could tell they didn't want to be there ( Tuesday night at 4pm). When I asked why it was taking so long the response was like I had some audacity to ask why it was taking so long, just poor customer service. Theater seating, amazing! Sound and visual quality, amazing! Shocking that a man at the theater decided not to wear deodorant so my entire experience was smelling his BO. 2024 and people can't manage simple hygiene!? There was also a woman there who appeared to be an off the clock employee having conversations with others blocking the soda machines so I had to wait for her to move. Movie was amazing! Experience was fine and I'm sure we will come back again just know you have to get there with lots of time before to order food. Also, beer selection and wine selection is very limited and mixed drinks are only available on certain nights (not Tuesdays).

This could've been built into a high class movie theater with some things that needed to be addressed. For the good part, it is in a beautiful building with some history. The food it's offered is freshly made. I got the fries and onion rings warm and great in taste. There is also a Jazz music bar on one corner. The seats are the best! They are leather in texture and soft and cozy, they can also recline to the my favorite level. The attached trays are also clever. Most of the time, when I go to other movie theaters I don't like to hold my food so I don't eat in the theater, but this tray made me feel like I need food in front of me. The not so great part is that the escalator was not in function. But this is not the main problem, for purpose of saving some energy and utility, it can be understandable. BUT, it got the popcorn, food, sauces spilled everywhere starting from the escalator to the carpet on the second floor. Let me wonder is it the quality of the customers not educated enough in this power and light area or the staffs are not told to maintain the cleanliness of the theater. Either one won't help this theater to achieve the goal to sell as a quality theater. Another big problem is that the size of the screen does not fit the size of the movie. That is not professional as the movie theater to play the unfit movie. And one advertisement which the owners of this theater are promoting the charity to help kids, ironically it looks like the husband owner's head is cut while talking, and the height of the screen is about right to the height of the wife owner and another lady friend showing on the screen. I would come more often since this theater is right in the walking distance from my place. But I would consider how neat it is, what the quality I can get from the price I pay to make my decision if this worths my time walking 6min and change the sitting from my sofa to the sofa in this theater.

We have been here multiple times when it was the Alamo drafthouse theater and loved their dine in service and fun movie nights like Monty Python night. Currently under B&B they no longer do "dine in "-waiter" service and it is just a "regular" movie theater. They do still offer burgers etc but I feel they are missing an opportunity here as we love to go to a movie downtown then walk over and have dinner. We would just eat dinner there if offered. (More than burgers)However their redlining leather seats are NICE and fully recline! They do offer Pepsi products and not Coke. We will definitely be back!

Not good is quite the understatement. This theater sucks. The AC is broken. The escalators are broken and felt dangerous to walk on. Bathrooms are dirty and, more importantly, don't have running water. The movie didn't start anywhere near on time and we had to collectively send someone to ask for help - who didn't return so we sent more people on a rescue mission. Turns out they forgot to start the movie and the manager was incommunicado. The rescue party had to help another customer who had been waiting 30 minutes for their food. Even the audio in the movie sounded a little off. It's clear this theater is mismanaged and neglected, and we'll be talking about how bad this experience was for years.
