Fights gonna leave you like this, I wasn't even a part of it. Super mad, like wtf, security was throwing hands and pushing for no reason instead of breaking the fight up.

Lovely interior, decor - horrible setup. Now, lets start with the front door and the bouncers. Now of course there will be a line - but lets find out how you can skip the line. Friends with the bouncer, skip the line. Know someone that works there? Skip the line. Single woman? Skip the line. I was almost tempted to tell the women to say that they weren't with me to get inside quicker. Also if you're VIP? Feel free to skip the line. Speaking of VIP - VIP runs the club. If you aren't VIP or paid to be VIP - I would really hesitate to even coming. If you aren't VIP you can't sit or chill. As a bouncer literally told me - 'You have to pay to sit.' On the plus side, they did have their own parking behind the building - and you shouldn't have to pay to park. While the ambiance is extremely cool and very Vegas-esque, but having to 'pay to sit' in an extremely small atmosphere and the way nothing is uniform at the door will definitely have me hesitate to coming back to the club.

It was a good time. A few complaints though - they could have served food but that's not their thing. The bottle service was actually inexpensive, especially compared to the prices in Vegas which is where I live. The bottle girl sucked. She was hardly anywhere to be found. Parking was pretty close at the CVS which helped. I enjoyed the ambiance. The music selection was confusing AF. One minute you got Miley Cyrus, next Taylor Swift, next R. Kelly and the next Shawty Lo. But this was prior to the DJ spinning. When he got there it got LIVE seeing that it was afrobeats night. After that we had a blast. I'd go back.

Super fun, great crowd, great music. The bartender watched out for us and invited us back the next night. Very respectful guys hanging out here. Really fun chats with ladies in the restroom. Will definitely come back!

It's definitely a vibe. Smaller than I expected and SUPER crowded. I didn't love the music that they played and wished it was more main stream or maybe I just needed to be more drunk, who knows. It's a nice looking place for sure with a big bar and fun lighting. It feels like the majority of the space is for private parties/bottle service, so that makes it feel even smaller. Probably not going to be a place I frequent but it's worth a shot.

Most amazing nightclub ever I've been to almost every night club in Kansas City and I can tell you that Aura is by far the best from the music to the service it's my far an amazing place with amazing people the owners are very very nice LGBTQ friendly Bottle service is amazing staff are respectful very helpful staff go to Aura their EDM nights are amazing as well i've been going there for two years now just amazing service.

For the countless time I have been to Aura I loved it until last Thursday. I had always counted on this place to be fun, exciting, and an amazing atmosphere to hang out with friends from out of state. When invited to a birthday celebration in vip I was excited to show my friend their first club in Kansas City! We had fun until the night was cut short for us for an unknown reason. The head of bottle service had decided to threaten me saying I walk out now or get kicked out by security. Mind you there was no prior fights let alone interactions that night. To then be bashed in front of security, and the light technician was very unpleasing and unprofessional. I had not argued let alone said any profanity and to be escorted out and have the woman talk rude to me in my ear was frustrating. I really hope the owner takes this into consideration and is able to correct the staffing. I want to be able to be able to still invite friends and spend money at this establishment but with the behavior from the woman on the 8/17/23 I don't think I will.

Nobody was dancing and the drinks were overpriced. It felt like an off brand rave and the DJ was mediocre. I stayed for about an hour before deciding to go somewhere else. Not worth it after staying in line and paying a $20 cover.

Honestly I considered giving it one star, but at the same time atleast there was music. I just don't understand how a nightclub is gonna charge $40 PER PERSON to get into a nightclub where nobody dances and the DJ is a failed Bassnectar wannabe. If you wanna have FUN in Kansas City I'd head down to Westport for they're great selections of bars and clubs. It should be called Aura LOUNGE not Aura NIGHTCLUB cause I've had more fun watching paint dry. Everyone was just standing there, how can you call yourself a dance club when NOBODY DANCES.

DONT EVER HAVE THE GUY IN THE GREEN BEHIND THE BAR AGAIN ON SATURDAY, he has a attitude and don't know what customer service is. If he doesn't like his job then please don't put in for a application. I'll be putting the word in for people NOT to go on Saturdays ‼‼
