We're looking for a new place for Pho. Decided to give this place a try for lunch. It was close by. From their site, they say they serve different cuisine, and not just Chinese food. I was skeptical of how their Pho would taste. Upon arrival, the restaurant window advertised Pho and Pad Thai to draw more people in to the restaurant. Inside it a typical Chinese deco. They have ample seating. TV screen with nature scene just to draw your attention. We got seated right away. There was only one person at the restaurant that did the hosting and serving. No smile and not too friendly of a person. We both ordered their combination Pho that comes with beef and other things. Big bowl of Pho is about $16. A little pricy here compared to other places. The Pho itself was decent. It has a good flavor. Would I come here again? Maybe to try other dishes.

Food: we ordered off the "Oriental Menu" and got the combination chow fun, jalapeño chicken, combination in hunan sauce, and salt & pepper shrimp. The food came out fresh and hot! Service: friendly and helpful.Ambiance: mostly take out orders, but my family and I like coming for dine in.

Very friendly and quick service. We ordered beef and broccoli and a dinner combination platter to start which each came with a side of rice. My bf and I were very hungry so we ended up adding chicken fried rice. They were very accommodating at our extra order. Also, I am in a wheelchair due to surgery and it was very easy to come in and pull up a chair. They have a handicapped spot right out front, but no ramp. So, we ended up wheeling down to Twisted Fresh to get on the sidewalk.

Ordered take out here on Monday because I was searching for stir -fry udon noodles after coming back from Vegas. I got the chicken yaki udon which wasn't bad but not what I'm used to. Most yaki noodles (Japanese stir-fry) I've had usually add sriracha sauce but this was missing. I wanted vegetable stir-fry also but accidentally got the hunan sauce with mixed vegetable. Again not bad. Not sure I'd be ordering from here again though. Service was prompt & cashier was nice.

The best seafood Pho I've ever had. Egg drop soup was fire as well! I'll definitely be back.

I really can't tell the difference between Chinese restaurants. I mean I would fail the Pepsi Challenge with most Chinese joints in the KC area. I have 2 Chinese options in my neighborhood. I like to split my time between both. However, I would rather come here for a dine in experience. it seems cleaner than most. I would recommend stopping by here to check it out or at least get take out. Most entrees I've had here are good, same goes for the service.

We tried a new restaurant tonight. Asian House near JCCC. I was excited to see that they were an Asian fusion restaurant serving numerous regions. Crab Rangoon appetizer was hot and fresh. Very tasty. General Tso chicken was ok. Light on flavor, heavy on batter. I ordered Phad Thai chicken. As it was presented I wax immediately hit with a heavy vinegar smell, almost rotten smell. The color was off. Not the usual orangish color that I'm accustomed to. I've sampled Phad Thai at least 15 different restaurants in different city's. This was not Phad Thai. I had a few bites and pushed my plate away. We finished the generals chicken and I took my plate to our server at the counter. I kindly stated that this did not taste good. It smelled and tasted like vinegar. She snapped at me and said Tamarind, it's Tamarind. To her credit, she removed the charge from our ticket without my asking. Pass on Asian House in O. At least pass on Thai offerings. Many better places to eat.

Since we moved to 119th area we have been trying different Chinese restaurants and Asian House is definitely the our favorite. They are consistent in food quality and flavor. I recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants good Chinese food.

Considering one of its unique dish, I rate this restaurant 5 stars. This dish services different types of steamed vegetables, such as carrots, mushrooms, baby corns, onions, bell peppers.. Thus, it is a good source of fibers and nutrients. Rember it is cook by steam, it dies not have oil! Further, it puts its source aside. Thus, I can limit the salt and sugar intake. BUT. I still have a delicious dish for my dinner. For my dinner, I always order its wonton soup. But today I have fired dumplings instead.
