Ashleigh Bake Shop is a hidden gem (and my guilty pleasure)! I tried both the Apple Crumble and Peach Pie, and they were amazing. The all-butter crust is perfection--flaky, rich, and melts in your mouth. The apple crumble had the perfect balance of sweet and tart with a delicious crunchy topping, and the peach pie tasted like summer in every bite, with juicy peaches wrapped in that golden crust.You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and lots of love. I'll definitely be back to try more of their pies!

This place has been on my list for a while and it didn't disappoint! On the bottom floor of Pryde's (a fantastic space and shop in its own right), this pie shop was like an unexpected surprise.My favorites were the peach pie and the key lime pie.This is one of the few bakeries I've had where the crust isn't just secondary to the pie filling.The crust on the peach pie is amazing. Perfect, buttery, delicious, with just the right about of crisp and flakiness. Wasn't soggy on the bottom.The key lime had a perfect ratio of cream to pie and the filling was so smooth and not overly stiff/congealed like I've had elsewhere.$6 for a giant slice of happiness is a great deal. I'll definitely come back anytime I'm craving pie.

Best key lime pie! I've made an order for a full key lime pie twice now and it is so good. When I came in, they were providing samples for other items and everything is delicious. Such a cute place tucked away in Pryde's Old Westport, great service and delicious pie - I need to try more things here.

I love to bake but I have not mastered pie crust. It never turns out great for me, to my shame. Thank God for Ashleigh and her peerless pie crust. When I don't feel like embarrassing myself on yet another holiday, I order an always perfect pie or five from Ashleigh's Bake Shop. Do try the sweet corn and roasted poblano quiche. It is divine.Fair warning, the Bake Shop is on the lower level of Pryde's. I adore unnecessary kitchen gadgetry and try to shield my eyes and proceed with caution, but I never pick up a pie order without buying something else on the way in or out. If you, too, are the curious type, allot some time to explore.

My parents came into town and they love pie. I found this place on Instagram and based on the limited hours I figured it was a small shop locally owned. I was right. They are inside (lower level) of Pryde's Kitchen and Necessities. My experience started when I noticed you can text them your order. I texted the number to let them know that I would be coming on Thursday to pick up pie and asked if I should order ahead or if it would be safe to pick up and select based on what's available when I get there. She said I should order ahead because they often sell out before end of the day. I ordered one whole pie and several individual slices for my party of six. Everything is fresh and amazing. When we got the pie out after dinner, and everyone selected their pieces the amazement at the wonderful flavors from everyone at my house was almost shocking. My favorite was the Keylime pie. I don't even know how to put in words how much flavor was in this pie. (My mouth is watering as I type this). We ordered a whole banana cream pie, and it had fresh made Whipped cream topping. It was all so tasty. This is a must try if you like pie. Super super friendly and easy ordering over text message. Definitely put this on your list. And... As I mentioned, it's in the basement of a small kitchen store that has so many wonderful and unique items. I can't wait to go back just to check out Pryde's.

Best pie in Kansas City hands down!!! Great selection of homemade pies from fruit to cream pies. Ashleigh's pie crust is delicious, I'm typically not a fan of crust. She is very accommodating and provides great service to her customers.Located in Westport, lower level of Pryde's Old Westport Kitchen & Necessities, and is open Thursday through Saturday.

I've been wanting to stop by Ashleigh's bake shop for quite some time and finally made it today! Unfortunately we came at about 1pm on a Saturday and she was almost sold out. She had a few flavors left so we grabbed a key lime and banana cream pie slice. The atmosphere is very unique because it's in the bottom of Pryde's. I love how old timey and unique it is. It literally feels like you're stepping back in time. The bake shop is more of a "to go" place. Like I said, stop by early to get the popular flavors. I love key lime pie and it didn't disappoint!

The best pies and chocolate chip cookies in the area! Ashleigh is so nice and very accommodating. I love planning to pick up treats. Plus, there's a pickup door and your order will be delivered to your vehicle.

We had Ashleigh's pies at our wedding. FANTASTIC! So flexible, delivered to our venue, and everyone raved about the 5 flavors we picked (chocolate chess, smores, key lime, coconut cream, and apple).
