I'm so glad I finally got to try this brunch place in my neighborhood! It's pretty small and moderately busy on a Saturday morning - about a 20-30 min wait which isn't bad at all. The service was quick and easy, and the menu is HUGE! I was so glad to have a TON of veggie options to choose from, and the Veggie Skillet was calling my name. I definitely made the right choice! The veg was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well without being too spicy. I really liked the green salsa that came with it, and the eggs were perfect too! After this experience it'll be hard to try any other menu items, but in the name of research I'll just have to suffer through it hahahaha!I cannot wait to come back and get a heaping portion of breakfast potatoes! I'm drooling just thinking about it...

One of the worst breakfast experiences I've ever had. This place is always packed but don't be fooled into thinking it's good, it's packed because it's small. It's supposed to be a take on Mexican breakfast food but there was nothing Mexican about it. It was very American. My chicken and waffles came out cold and already drizzled with some type of Horachata icing. I could've done without it. Just a glorified chicken strip with cold soggy waffles. My friends both ordered savory dishes one was the steak omelet it was very dry and the other one was some type of hash served with black beans. I would equate it to nursing home food.Drinks were nothing to rant and rave over and the service was not good. I will not go back and it is not worth trying out.

AR's Breakfast and Lunch in Overland Park has quickly become my new favorite brunch spot. The Chorizo Bowl is a must-try--packed with flavorful chorizo, sunny side eggs, potatoes, and all the right seasonings. The dish is hearty, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. What really sets AR's apart, besides the great food, is the quick and friendly service. You can expect a warm welcome and efficient service, making it a go-to spot whether you're in a rush or looking for a relaxed brunch. Highly recommend for anyone in the area! Be prepared to wait, this place is jumping!

If you are looking for a place that offers a really good Mexican breakfast then definitely check it out!! I have been here a few times and slowly working through the menu. There maybe a bit of a wait because there is not a lot of seating, but it is well worth the wait!! Food is absolutely delicious and large portion size!!

Ok so off to the races, and I'll bring the punch line to the top. Yes we liked it and yes we would come back again. Normally the fam jam and I go out for Saturday morning coffee, where I get a chance to catch up with everyone and how their week has been. When we showed up, the place was full so we took the only spot open, which was 4 bar seats along the window looking out. That was a small mistake however as it was freezing outside which made our area a bit chilly. So we had the option of wearing our winter coat while we ate, or take it off and have to sit on them as the bar seats didn't have backs. Minor inconvenience that is on us. We could have waited for an actual table. Ok, on to the next.....the waitress was very nice and attentive and took our drink orders and brought them quickly...same with our food order. The menu has plenty of options and it was easy to find something. Food arrived, and we were all happy with what we ordered. Just for an idea of pricing, we ordered 2 lattes, 2 orange juices, and each chose a meal.....after taxes and tip, we landed at a about $100 for the 4 of us.

This place is not your typical breakfast place! With a mix of American and Mexican breakfast cuisine, this place is a must go to! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Portion of food was generous and hot and fresh.

Me and 2 friends came in for late brunch on a gloomy Friday. We ordered a picture of margaritas and asked if they could make them the specialty flavor of jalapeño and cucumber and they did for a small up charge. Also had a bloody mary, passion fruit mimosa and Michelada. The drinks were very good. I ordered the chillaquiles with green sauce and added steak. First off it was a big serving of food so if you are hungry this will do the trick. The sauce was tasty and not spicy the steak was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered chorizo bowl and he said it was delicious and also and big serving of food so again if you're hungry another option. Lastly my other friend ordered a build your own omelete and it came with breakfast potatoes, she said her s was really good as well. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food and service were very good. The is a small parking lot off to the side and you have to walk to the mainstream to get to front door, as it is right on Metcalf. I definitely recommend trying them out, drinks food and service are all worth it and I will be back to enjoy a giant mimosa next time!

This was my first time visiting AR's Breakfast & Brunch. I was very happy to see that they had quite a few Gluten Free options and especially GF pancakes! The options were well marked with a symbol on the menu. They had an extensive menu for a breakfast and brunch establishment. I had the pick your own choice and I chose eggs (medium), sausage patties and the GF pancake and it comes with breakfast potatoes. All the food was cooked perfectly, the only thing I didn't care for were the sausage patties as they seemed bland. The GF pancake was one of the best that I've had! My daughter said her meal was good as well. The restaurant was comfortable and clean and the service was good. I lookforward to going back and trying their omelette platters or skillets!

Our 1st visit since we were in the area dealing with car maintenance. There is plenty if parking right past it. It has a small but well done outdoor seating area ( which we enjoyed) !On a Saturday morning about 9:30am we surprisingly didn't have a wait and service was immediate and friendly.Their menu is extensive not just quick breakfast offerings! And they offer adult beverages! The portion are VERY large WOW and exceptionally flavorful! I could NOT even finish half of my skillet and it was full of vegetables although a bit too much cheese for me.Highly recommend!!
