Great place to shoot or buy a gun. Jim the owner is very fair with his prices and knowledgeable. He saved me over a $150 from what I would have paid at Bass Pro, plus if gave me a fair trade in value for my vintage handgun. He took the time to call it in while I waited and was given the PROCEED with sale and I left with the handgun I wanted.

Avoid! A trip to the range for CCW class was a nightmare. Air Conditioner vents over the 21 foot mark, blew the targets around. No control over the range, had a group that needed to be removed for the safety of others, no one noticed. People behind the counter didn't seem to be interested in dealing with me when I was looking for a particular item, cluttered, pricing was not good. I'm done, won't return.

I've been doing business with this shop since they were at their old location with a different owner. It's always been an awesome place that has stuff in stock at decent prices when others don't.

Decent little gun store with a surprising selection of hand guns, rifles, ammo and accessories for shooting needs. Very knowledgeable Ex-Marine in staff, had a good, thought through answer for every question I came up with, he also had to add links to shooting tech videos and explained some of his own acquired on tours in hostile territory experience. Good man right there, helped tremendously acquiring my first hand gun from their store. Also a big Thank You is going out owner, who sold me my second gun after he was actually already about to go home and shut the shop down. He brought the BG check through by phone and everything went without ay hic-ups, got to take it home same day due to a good man investing time a newbie customer's needs. Appreciated store, highly recommended. And NO, they don't pay me to write this review, I don't get shit free or cheaper *I might, if i point this review out to them* lol ;)No, seriously, good place to get a gun and immediately switch over to giving it a first run in the second business in the building, a gun range called CrossFire. Very nice people too.

This is a neat old school Gun Shop. The place has that small but full feel! I was looking for a hard to find discontinued Ruger. Nobody local had it but Jim (owner) did! I felt prices were more than fair so I got it. (Being a KS resident, the firearm had to be transferred.) They had a bit of a mixup on that process but when the problem was identified, Jim immediately remedied the problem and I had my new gun that afternoon! Very friendly & knowledgeable "good ol boys" on the counter as well. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask them, they probably have it!!

A quirky little gun store that is absolutely STUFFED to the gills with firearms, ammo and supplies. They make no effort to hide their VERY conservative, right-wing views. I still enjoy the man who owns the place, he is helpful and loves to talk guns! :) We purchased a CZ here for a good price and they still are very dedicated to avoiding computer background checks in order to protect your identity. (They do over-the-phone b/g checks). They also have an indoor range with little snack machines in the lobby. It is out in the eastern part of Independence, so a bit of a drive--but worth it.

Prices are good but the staff was rude when I was there. Scoffed at me when I needed a bore sight for my .223 AR-15 like I was an idiot. I was new there so I don't see the reason for being rude. Purchases under $15 dollars require cash only as cards will not be accepted.I will not return and will not recommend this business.I'm a Vietnam Vet with years of experience with weapons.

Rude staff. Not a very good selection. This is a typical hole in the wall shop with a group running it I'd avoid. They won't even disassemble used firearms. Tell me how you can tell if a used gun is junk or not without a field strip. Insane

REALLY not interested in helping anyone. I could not even finish my question before being cut off and told, "We don't have any"!Ok, great. I will look for a shop to work with that isn't super rude!!!

Searched all over for a SW M&P Shield 9 that no one else had; they had it. Used a debit card and they gave a 10% break. $420 for the same pistol Cabelas charges $449 plus $20 for transfer fee to a local FFL plus $20 for background check plus their high tax rate for being in a TIF.. Saved a lot of money. Huge selection of CR rifles and modern shotguns, rifles and pistols. friendly staff and they have a range. They have me as a customer for life.
