Annedore's Fine Chocolates

A quaint chocolate shop. Reasonably priced for quality. Helpful and friendly service. Worth the drive. Good parking.I got 2 peanut butter cups for Mr. G. And the truffles for me. A perfect paring for my coffee from Hi Hat down the street.

SUMMER GELATO IS BACK AT ANNEDORE'S! This is huge for us as we live in the neighborhood and it's A) Delicious and B) Incredibly convenient.Everyone loves going out for ice cream. I love a lot of spots around the metro, but let's be honest, some of them get crazy busy and you end up waiting in line for a while. That's not a dealbreaker, but with a summer of social distancing, it's nice to have a spot like Annedore's that is tucked into the neighborhoods, has outdoor seating, and is never too busy.Their gelato is so good, and the service is friendly as it gets. We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it.I cannot recommend this place enough for gelato, macarons, and of course chocolate if that's your thing. Want to skip lines for ice cream (well, gelato) this summer and still support local? This is your spot. Bookmark it!

I love this sweet little shop. We walk to this area all of the time and it's always a treat getting to stop in here, no pun intended. In my opinion, their best products are the truffles. Perfect for a little bite or, even better, for a small gift for somebody on a special occasion or no occasion at all. During the pandemic, they have been offering curbside pickup on store orders, so I have gotten a few little boxes of chocolates to show some support. I highly recommend making a stop in here or checking out their website!

Delicious! Varied menu. You can look online for the menu each day. Service is generally prompt. It's casual- can get very busy at lunchtime.

Absolutely amazing! We got the dirt and worm gelato and it was very good! We are huge gelato fans! But their chocolate is outstanding! Very nice lady working, and great service. Cute little chocolate place to stop at with lots of cool chocolate! We will be back! Prices are very reasonable also!

Kansas City has plenty of gourmet chocolate options and AnneDore's Fine Chocolate is one of them. Easy parking, great location, super friendly service. Besides chocolate and macarons, you can purchase the best gelato in KC! Must try gelato flavors: Anne Dore's Chocolate( rich and dense) and Grapefruit prosecco ( super refreshing)There is an outdoor seating area with complimentary water. I highly recommend a visit to this place.

I like to come here when I'm looking for a nice gift for someone. They're selection is always tasty. This last trip the person helping me seemed a little put off by the couple of questions I asked and maybe even annoyed I was there. I guess it might have just been my perception or maybe just because I've had much friendlier service in the past.In any case, it's not like she was rude, just not very warm or friendly.The candies I chose were big hits with the recipients, which is really what matters.

We made the awesome gingerbread house. It's adorable and the Royal icing was perfect!

Incredible chocolate with congenial staff - so worth the $$!! Specialty items depending on holiday as well!!
