My friend and I met at Anchor Island Coffee for breakfast this week; it was our first time visiting, and we had a lovely time! The ambience is very welcoming, with local art on the walls and nautical-themed graphics on the tables. Everyone behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful as we navigated the menu, answering all our questions with a smile. They were genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great meal. And we did! I had the egg burrito breakfast, and my friend had the French toast, and everything was DELICIOUS! Very fresh flavors, artful seasoning, and creative plating (the way they cut the French toast evoked the shape of a heart). I had the house coffee (from Broadway Roasting Company), and my friend had the cappuccino, and our drinks were just as delicious as the food. Our orders were brought out very quickly, even during a fairly busy time of day, and again--service with a smile. Many thanks to everyone at Anchor Island Coffee for a delightful time! We'll certainly be back!

A very humble breakfast and brunch spot that has some incredible food. The breakfast burrito and chilaquiles are phenomenal. The chilaquiles flavor is so rich and the spice is tottering on a perfect balance of flavor without over being over poweringly hot. It really is so we'll made, the same goes for the burrito. Their chorizo is exceptional as well. The owners are damn friendly and make each visit an enjoyable experience.

This cute coffee shop on Troost gives beachy vibes. The staff are friendly, the space is roomy. Coffee, teas, pastries, breakfast and lunch options. Milk alternatives are also offered. This coffee shop is a LGBTQ plus friendly spot. Everyone is welcome. Parking is limited - street or the gravel lot in the back.I had the tuna melt. It was good. My sister had the Monte Cristo. She just wished there was more meat on the Sammy. There's lots of coffee shops and locally owned eateries along Troost. If you're trying to decide which one to choose, this is one to try.

Overall, good food, great service, and great food options. Truly felt like you're at home working in a café in a cozy setting. Can get loud at times with crowds on like a Saturday morning, but to be expected. Overall, a really great spot for studying, or meeting up with a friend we loved the breakfast burritos.!!

I'll definitely be back to this cute coffee shop that sits right on the corner of Troost and 41st! The menu features sweet and savory breakfast items and pastries with classic and unique coffee offerings! I ordered a sausage and egg on an everything bagel and it hit the spot! Perfect stop for a morning a commute!

I am glad I finally visit this cute coffee shop! The theme in the shop is anchor( of course lol) and ocean, for a person who was born on a island surrounded by oceans, I can totally resonate with the spirit this coffee shop try to build. It is a welcoming neighborhood kind of coffee as well. The staff was nice and friendly, and the owner ( I think, I saw him talking to a reporter-like person with a camera man outside of the door when I went in) could say goodbye and called my name when I was about to leave. It made me feel like I've been here thousands times. He could also chat with other customers who looks like living next to the shop as if they are old friends. The vibe is truly amazing. Food, is another amazing part of this coffee shop. Their coffee is more like Mexican or Asian inspired specialty coffee. They do have the regular "boring" ones, but I tried the horchata latte, according to the staff, they homemade the rice milk to add in this specialty drink. And I love the taste! Love this exotic flavor and the most important part is it's not overly sweetened! The breakfast burrito is great and taste fresh and healthy, not the usually greedy and overly seasoned type of burrito. Totally my type of food!!!Love this place and will definitely visit often to try more stuff!!

Yelp may be broke.anyways, limited street parking, great location blocks from my house, friendliest folks servicing up the JAVA, i really should try their food, it looks amazing on the wall, always a popup art thing in the cornergreat JAVA, love it. I will be back over and over and over.

Great coffee and great people! I love anchor island. They have the best lattes. My husband loves their horchata latte and I am addicted to their blueberry latte. Check them out!
