This place is phenomenal. Food, service, entertainment is second to none in the KC metro. All restaurants are fabulous, but the Chop House and Willie & Jose's are amazing. Club 38 is absolutely the best. Service is 5 star!

Trying to get a hold of the front desk reservation service at this hotel is impossible. No one ever answers the phone. It is bad customer service.

This hotel has gone downhill quickly. The horrific smells in our room as well as the hallway were shocking. It smelled like massive water damage occurred on the 11th floor and created strong mildew and poop smells. It gave us horrible headaches. We called the front desk to ask if maintenance or room service could come do something to help mask the smell and no one ever showed up. It was impossible to sleep all night due to the awful smell. We will not be going back. I also never understand the carpet choices in the hotel. It looks like multiple murders occurred in the hallways as the carpets have large splatters of red which looks like blood. Just a horrible experience when it has so much potential for customers going to concerts and want to stay overnight.

We went to a concert here and the venue is small and intimate so there's really not a bad seat in the house. I would say that they need more people working at the concessions because we had to wait in line a long time.I would definitely come back here and see another show for the fact that the pricing is an overly expensive and the seats are good.

We were able to book 3 nights here comp as I am a Emerald member and resort fee is comped too. I tend to play here quite a bit compared to other casinos such as the Argosy, Harrah's and Bally's. We like staying here because the casino is nice and big and near Worlds of Fun which is a 5 minute drive The only downside is the parking as a lot of close up parking is blocked off, but the walk to the casino is not too bad. They gave a garage as well, but the hotel is on the other side which makes it not convenient. They have a small arcade, movie theatre and a stadium for performances. I have yet done those yet as we come here for the park, but maybe when World's of Fun goes into an offsHotel Room was nice and big even though we did not get a suite this time around. The room itself was nice still even though the toilet, shower and sink was more cramped compared to the suite, but it was still nice. They do a courteous check after 2 days in the hotel which is a first for us.Food wise, since we have not been back since last September as World's of Fun is an 8 hour drive, we did not get our usual $25 dollars, so we ended up eating somewhere else, but World's of Fun we use our meal passes. We eaten at Sugo and the Steak place and Burger place. I do have separate review for those.CasinoThe things I love about the casino, they offer 3 to 2 blackjack unlike Caesar's properties. Usually min bets are $15 dollars during primetime, but I got in at $10 dollars in the morning however. If you play smart, your money does go pretty far as I lost a total of $75 dollars with three hours of play as that $75 dollars can be lost in minutes on a slot. Do not know how much points the casino gives me, probably not as much compared to slots. I could not play to long. I have not played craps here as I tend to.From the last time I went here on September, they definitely got new machines as there was a lot I really wanted to play, but constrained myself not to bet too big on those as they are volatile. But the new games they have Huff and more puff, buffalo casino carnival, Fire Link (One with the Monkey), Pinball, Top Dollar, Heidi and Hannah, some new Konami games, Buffalo Asencion which I avoided as I got the bonuses twice, but the payback was awful, I tend to avoid those as those are really volatile and I tend to lose a lot of money on those. The Lightning Link, Dollar Storm and Dragon Link are the most popular games as people tend to me on there quite a bit. If you really want to play those, I recommend going in the morning.I had a lot of luck this trip and at Ameristar and I got some great wins here. This time I ended up with a $2585.00 hand pay at Thunder Cash which was awesome as I got a lot of retriggers. Thunder Cash was being really kind to me. I played the Enforcer and Real Fruits 777 which was alright. But these machines do not have the hit by a certain number, but noticed the bonus did come out more often except did not get one on real Fruit. One thing to know is you do pay a jackpot 4% tax which they ended up taking $130 dollars of my winnings. I did tip the slot attendant however, since my luck was great. I enjoyed playing Pinball even though the bonus is hard to get. Huff and Puff, I love and hate the game as I usually win a lot or lose a lot.Overall, a great casino experience. I can not wait to come back here and play.

Decided to stay here for the night while driving through KC. It was rated pretty highly, it has a 4 star rated hotel, had several restaurant options, etc. Seemed like the ideal place to stop after a long day of driving. I booked a suite room for more space, it was around $200 for the night. Upon arrival, there was only one person working at the hotel lobby counter. There was no option for valet and the walk to the parking lot is quite far when you have a lot of luggage. This was on a Wednesday evening. It seems like this place is a ghost town on week days. All of the restaurants and sports bars were closed abruptly by 10pm with no other options except the casino bar or a vending machine. Ended up driving to downtown KC for dinner. In addition to not having many options for food after 10pm, it's evident that they have a partnership with logistics companies as the entire parking lot outside of my suite room was filled with Kroger and Cintas trucks. The suite I booked ended up being in the farthest corner of the hotel on the first floor, which opened directly to a parking lot. Unfortunately I couldn't park my car here for easy access to my room, as it was reserved for these logistics trucks.I called housekeeping to request some spare towels and pillows for the room. Ours came with 2 pillows and 2 towels, not extras in the closet like you'd normally expect. The front desk ended up answering and let me know that there is no housekeeping on staff to bring me what I was requesting, in addition to that, she couldn't leave the front desk and only had 1 pillow. I ended up walking the 1/2 mile to the front desk to get the pillow. This place must be really busy on the weekend, but based on my experience on a Wednesday evening, I will not be returning. This does not have the amenities or service of a true 4 star hotel. There are missing sidewalks all over the place, no valet or bellhops, no way to easily get to the parking lot from your room. The list goes on. I also thought it was odd to have a framed picture of the execs running this place in the main lobby yet can't afford a housekeeper. Weird flex.

I made the mistake of coming to the worst casino in America again. Only brought $100 because this place sucks so bad and it did not disappoint. I won more than I bet 4 times, no bonuses, no free spins. Biggest hit $3.20. do yourself a favor and stay as far away from here as you possibly can.

We had an extra 140 dollar charge when we checked in 100 of which I was told would be refunded in a week to 10 days we had already paid plenty to stay here with taxes. Stayed two nights and our room was not in anyway fresh for the second night, checked 4 floors before I could find a soda machine that worked.
