This place I'd pretty good! Nice big, comfy bed, TV, microwave, fridge, cabinets, a couch to sit on, an extra bed in the window. Nice and clean.The jacuzzi in the tub turned me to spaghetti! I feel so much better! Looked at the gym. Wasn't too interested. Don't get me wrong, it had a few decent pieces of equipment, treadmills and such, but I had just gone for a swim in their nice little pool, then soaked in the tub. Too relaxed to work out!I passed a pizza guy on the elevator, so I know it's possible to order out.Snacks in a machine by the office if you want ice, take your room card! Nice place. Hubby and I enjoyed it!Oh, I'm actually premature here, because breakfast starts at 6am to 9 am in the morning. Looking forward to it, do check the pics for how it went!

Stayed here couple of times over the years, reason why I'm reviewing is because we'll be at the gas station down the road from the motel and people be walking up and starting arguing with people at the gas station. Maybe take some thought in who you let rent rooms, and there's always something going on drama over this or that. Do better American inn! Your community is noticing the trash... think about the customers not the dollars! Go up to days inn up road a ways! Much better for little more $

My husband and I thought we were going to have a fun weekend slumming it up in a cheap hotel. I can handle a cheap hotel and we were going to make an adventure out of it. But this hotel skipped cheap and went right into bad.Our first clue should have been the four police cars outside the hotel when we pulled in on our first day, last Saturday. Why were the police at this hotel? And what was so bad that they needed so many police officers? Who knows. I decided to wait in the car with the valuables while my husband ran inside to check us in and grab keys. That took more than 30 minutes. It took so long that I said screw the valuables, I can't wait in the car any longer. The line for check-in was so long that it went past the door and I couldn't get into the lobby without passing between people. Turns out that part of the wait was because there were no clean non-smoking rooms. My husband finally lost patience and said we would take a smoking room, but there was no way our room was cleaned either. There was a cigarette in the toilet, so clearly the cleaning crew hadn't flushed the toilet or even lifted the lid after the last guests. At first glance I thought it was poop but I was relieved when I realized that was not the case. I should NEVER be relieved to find a cigarette in a toilet in a hotel room.Our neighbors were screaming, loudly enough that we could hear the words. There was also a man sitting on the stairs next to our room and smoking a cigarette, and he was there every single time we left the room. I felt uneasy leaving knowing that someone was watching me come and go. Now, the other guests really shouldn't factor into a motel's rating because they can't control who checks in, right? But I felt so uncomfortable that I wished I had spent the extra money for a night somewhere else. We ended up canceling the rest of our plans, checking out a day early and getting a refund. Maybe I am more sensitive than I thought, but I just couldn't stay there another night.
