5 STARS ONLY because of the superlative Icee flavors! It's Icee heaven & the grandkids and I LOVE THEM.Other than that this particular AMC sucks! The seats are crappy, it's not clean, and the small arcade games there either don't work or they are filthy! We were in the neighborhood so we tried this location but we won't again.

Different than any other AMC as there's just a roped off line to join to cashiers to take your order no matter what... there's no self service then pay at this location. So be sure you arrive early in case the line is long. Overall good service

Never been to this theater but decided to go recently as the timing fit our schedule best. We found a large open space on entry which seemed under-staffed. Our particular screen was very large and sounded good. It also seemed clean. However, the seats were very uncomfortable as the footrests don't fully raise nor do the seats recline that much. Also, the chair controls are just weird....difficult to operate by touch alone in a dark environment. There was tons of seating but at least in the upper balcony each row has a divider between it and the next one down. It prevented us from seeing the very bottom of the screen unless we were sitting upright. That pretty much sums up our experience. It's fair to say your mileage may vary but I can't recommend AMC Barrywoods. Replace the seats and I'll reconsider.

We preordered the wicked bucket on the AMC app and when going to grab our order on the shelf where they keep preorders our popcorn bucket was missing (paid almost 20$ for) and one of our candies were not in the bag. Upon realizing this the movie was already starting so we ate the popcorn out of the regular bucket they substituted and were just going to get refunds after the movie. After the movie, we walked up to the counter to get our refund for the bucket and candy and the manager told us he could only refund the 6$ candy and not the bucket. Even though we specifically preordered the bucket, they ran out so now we don't get our money back or the popcorn bucket. Also not to mention when we went to the bathroom after the movie there was no toilet paper but a mysterious red liquid spilled all in the sinks which had not been cleaned. Pretty ridiculous amc.

My GF and I just left the worst movie experience ever. After TWICE asking to turn the sound level down, we finally decided to turn on the decibel meter on my phone. Average was 93 db and a peak of 116 db. For context, anything over 80 is considered harmful. 120 db is the sound level of a STEEL MILL! Even before this ridiculous noise problem, the theater business should remain concerned. No cheese for nachos or pretzels. The bartender BROUGHT HER OWN LIMES to work because she was tired of disappointing customers at her bar. Clear signs of deferred maintenance in common areas and bathroom. We thought this might be a fun escape. But leaving at the end of the movie was the escape we craved.

We've all been there, you get to the movie theater on time, take your seat and then endure almost 30 minutes of ads, promos and trailers that turns your scruffy leather recliner into an instrument of the Inquisition. Look... six Gerbils are driving a Kia and please, someone give LeBron a Sprite before he loses the big game. Pure treacle. However, during this bombardment, AMC always has an invitation to join their Stubs A-List loyalty program which offers free admission to up to three movies per week and a discount on snacks and such that takes a box of Raisinets down to six dollars. For someone like me who loves film and goes as they say, early and often, this seems like a windfall. Until I discover it's $300 a year with the extremely empty prospect of taking in three movies per week as the current choices in thought provoking cinema ranges from Lyle, Lyle Crocodile, Black Adam and the 40th anniversary re-release of Ishtar. Hasn't Dustin Hoffman suffered enough? There simply aren't enough cringe-proof films released every month (much less every week) to make this program a winner for anyone not under the spell of superhero CGI or Scooby Doo's hijinx in Morocco. On second thought, I'll just pay as I go. Those Gerbils sure are fun. Three stars for the films that matter.

I've been here a few times over the years. It's a solid theater which keeps with the AMC brand. I've only had good experiences here. Sure the concessions are expensive but that's the way it is with any major theater chain. I plan on being back now that I live closer.

My preferred theater, it is extremely clean and nice. It isn't perfect and the service isn't incredible but it is very good. I have seen numerous movies here and don't believe I will be stopping any time soon. Huzzah!
