Aloha Chopstix

Used to be a big fan of ordering via Uber eats... But they recently changed the menu and don't allow for selections that they previously allowed, making you pay more money for something you didn't even want. Until this is fixed, I won't be ordering here.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Kansas City!!! The food is consistently SO good and so fresh! Our delivery driver is always kind and the food comes so fast. Highly recommend!!

This is the closest Chinese to me and I order from here all the time. I have some favorites and some things I'll never order from here. I really like the Dragon & Phoenix. You cant find this at most places. It's the sweet, breaded and fried General Tso's Chicken side-by-side with a spicy, sweet, tomato-y Szechuan Shrimp. Now, I've ordered this several times and the the shrimp has always ha d an old school sweet & sour vibe. It's a tomato-based sauce that's sweet and tangy with some peas & carrots and shrimp floating around. It's never tasted that spicy to me. Well, the restaurant must have gotten some new szechuan peppercorns in stock because this last time it was HOT!! Like lip-numbing, tongue-tingling hot. I didn't mind because Americanized Chinese food is usually sweet and bland even when it's supposed to be spicy, but I was surprised since it's never been this spicy before. I still like it though. I always order online thru Menufy for pickup and it's easy, quick, and always ready on time. I don't love their soups and other Chinese restaurants have better/more vegetable offerings, but if I just want a lot of cheap, hot, fast, sweet chinese food this is where I go. I also like their "healthy" options. The steamed meat and veggies with the brown sauce on the side is very good.

While enjoying a nice Saturday outing my wife decided upon Asian for lunch. I did a Yelp search and the closest place to us that I had not ever tried was Aloha Chopstix, although I have driven by many times over the last few decades, so off we go. I had 2nd thoughts as soon as I opened the door and realized that Aloha was a primarily a carry-out restaurant with 2 tables for the foolhardy. Since my wife was getting hangry, she insisted we stay and enjoy the lackluster environment that really could use a deep clean and facelift. While we waited for our food, I started reading some Yelp reviews and realized that I really should have done some research before deciding to come here.We ordered off the lunch special menu and the price was very accommodating, unlike the gent that took our order. My wife ordered the chicken fried rice and I had the sweet and sour shrimp. We also ordered a side of egg rolls since we received crab rangoon with our meal. I found nothing wrong with the sampling of my wife's fried rice, but my sweet and sour shrimp was probably the worst Chinese meal I've ever been served. The batter on my flattened shrimp was doughy and the peppers and onion chunks were raw, and the pieces of pineapple were actually cold. A huge disappointment. Aloha can be used for a hello or a goodbye - I just used it for both on my first and last visit.

If you want classic American Chinese food at a decent price- this place is the best. Also very fast

Definitely a frustrating experience. I will not be returning here. I placed an order on behalf of two family members and the order was spilled in the bag and meat items felt rather rubbery and had an off smell. Contacted the ordering service the same evening, tried to call the restaurant twice and was hung up on. Owner was not willing to do anything to compensate and continued to just hang up on me. Super frustrating and atrocious customer service.

Updating after trying new dishes: sweet and sour chicken was okay, but I probably wouldn't get it again just because the sauce was a little too sugary (I'm weird). The general Tso's chicken was good but very spicy (their menu is accurate in saying that). Always love their crab Rangoons and it's great service. Still huge portions

I had the fried rice with crab Rangoon and I made the fried rice spicy. It was pretty good. Pretty solid substitute if you're looking for a change or your favorite place is busy. The lady is very nice and your food is made really quick.

This place is great! The portioning is well. The price is fair. I called in my order and had it at my door within picking out a movie to watch! Fastest delivery I've ever had, and the food tastes amazing. Highly recommend, for 35 dollars I probably got enough leftovers for the next two days! Also if you order online with a minimum order of 30 dollars they throw in extra stuff! Friendly staff, fast delivery, great food at a great price!

I beg of you go to any other restaurant then this one. This is my first review because I used to think nothing would case me to publicly announce my feelings for a restaurant. I've been a local most my life and have gone to most places out here. This have been by far the worst I've ever experienced. We have so much good food in KC and this "restaurant" doesn't deserve your money. You will feel violated going here.
