I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are so friendly. The location is near St. Luke's hospital. It's the perfect place to stay if you need to visit someone there. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants and the area is really nice. They have gated on site parking. Don't be fooled when you pull in. It looks like a small parking area, but you can go down and around the corner to find more parking and bigger spaces. I love that there is a water station for your refillable water bottles. I wish they had better breakfast options. My bed was very comfortable, and the view from my room was lovely. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in town.

I really like staying in the Aloft by Marriott hotels, they are fun, eclectic atmosphere and the rooms are different, colorful and comfortable. This location is everything I mentioned above plus the personnel is super friendly and polite. The room is very modern in style and really clean. The TV is big and in the wall, it has the streaming software so you can watch YouTube, Max, Showtime and can use your account in Netflix. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are nice and soft. The entrance lobby is really fun with a kind of Gothic and punk atmosphere. The board games and Pool table makes you want to stay and get a drink in the bar with your friends. The only con that I can see staying here is the cost of the parking, I think $ 24/ night is to steep.

Decent enough Aloft for a quick stay in KC. The beds were comfortable, room clean, good water pressure, and it was quiet. That is all I can ask for a road trip stay. I would stay again if I was here for some reason. That being said, a notable con is that there is no self-park, which is silly for a hotel like this in this area. Pro tip: go to Char Bar nearby for some bbq.

We almost always love A Loft Hotel's. They are fun and trendy. We ended up being sick so we didn't get to enjoy the pool table, velvet cozy lounge areas, or the bar. We came for business. The housekeeping ladies were awesome in coming in and disinfecting our room of our sick germs so we could start to get better. Shower pressure, hot water, parking, all good. And plenty of eateries and shopping within walking distance or driving. It's attached to the Cascade which is more like an upper luxury hotel and it is beautiful!!! We would stay here again. We are in room 314.

Cute hotel, and a quick walk to The Plaza. Location location location! I used one of the cozy nooks to get some work done downstairs, and the really sweet staff member who was vacuuming the area noticed I was on a work call and waited until I was done to continue his work. The bartender was friendly and talkative when we hung out at the WXYZ bar to watch the end of the Chief's game. However, the fitness center was closed for renovations this week, which the gal at check-in didn't know - as she specifically gave me directions to it when we arrived - and i didn't find out until i was dressed and there first thing in the morning, ugh. You need a key card to exit the parking garage, but it was deactivated at the moment of check out so...we couldn't exit the garage! Pressed the help button and got nowhere. Literally. So we had to get the person behind us to back up, so we could back up, to eventually get help getting out! I'd stay here again, but be more vocal about these two things.

Our 1st time at Aloft was pretty cool. We stayed 1 night. We loved the location because it was close to shopping, restaurants and the Uptown Theatre. We were in town for the comedy show at the Uptown Theatre. The hotel was nice inside and had friendly guest staff. I just loved her (oops did not get name). My only complaint is the water in the sink area would not get hot. We had to wash our hands in cold water which was not fun at all, since it's winter outside. For some reason, while getting ready for the day (next day) the thermostat had malfunctioned or something. The temperature was on 75 and the heat continued to rise on its own. We did not touch it and the heat went from 75 to 82 degrees within seconds. We are not sure what happened but we were leaving so didn't get to report it. Overall the hotel is beautiful inside. Our room was super cute. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the faucet cold water and thermostat that morning (but not the whole time).

Location is good, but the hotel has issues. They don't clean the rooms. And when they "clean" the room I am not sure what they do I had to call to get tissues and towels. After I spoke to front desk the next morning and requested the room be cleaners because they didn't pick up the used wash cloths they assured me that the room Would be cleaned. Well, it wasn't the floor was dusty and they never went into the shower. The people at the front seat were nice, but I would stay at another hotel on my next visit. Our friends who were with us had issues with their a/c that couldn't be fixed and then they got moved. Their room was never cleaned or cool.
