All Nations is great. My girlfriend and I went in and they got us set up with a flag pole, mount and flags. They've got a lot of sports flags but most importantly those KC team flags to represent on game day. I hear they also do flag pole installations at commercial and residential properties.

As a geography geek I have been coming here for several decades. I had a loft in the neighborhood in the early 90's and I found that large flags served not only as décor, but filled large high empty spaces cheaper than art. I have since bought a house in the suburbs - (don't judge - Uber's my friend) and have purchased sporting banners for my garage and American flags for the house front. At work, I hang a national or state flag anytime I hire a new employee from somewhere that is not represented yet. I don't know how this place stays in business, since I'm usually the only one there at the time, but I'm so glad they are. They fill that niche to talk vexillology when you hear a cool NPR story about a nation contemplating changing it's flag. A great place to start that nerdy nephew a new hobby/ collection - you'll always know what to get him next year! Brick and mortar at its geekiest and patriotic best!

I am simply delighted with our new 30 foot flagpole installed by All Nations on our property. The whole process was as smooth and professional as could be. Great people to work with, Randy the installer was premium quality and a hoot to boot. Fly our flag folks!!

Some places I visit, some small businesses - I have to wonder how they stay in business (like 3 French Hens in Town Center that sells Christmas decorations year round). All Nations is one of these establishments to me - it's a wonderful business, unique and deserving of lots of foot-traffic and interest, but I fear it doesn't get this. All Nations sells flags, current and historic reproductions of countries and states and war flags, army flags, flags specially made for people that bring in their own designs. As soon as I saw they stocked war mother's flags I liked the place immediately (we have one hanging in our window while my brother's in Afghanistan). It's dark inside, small and wooden everywhere on the walls and the floors and the table spaces. The store front manager or owner or both was kind to answer my questions and I had lots of them. He showed me a reproduction of the Fort Sumter Flag hanging near the entrance, he told me about a Japanese man bringing in a flag from World War II with all of the soldier's names stitched on the back (it was donated to the Japanese consulate), and we talked about a wooden propeller that was probably from the First World War. He said he wasn't a war buff but that the store attracted a lot of war buff-types (funny how I was one of them). So I left with a lot more information than I thought I would have picked up going in. Some stores lack depth and intrigue, their merchandise is forgettable and their employees know no more than you about the store's contents and ideas but All Nations Flag Co. Inc. is not one of them. I suggest taking a look at this small and discreet flag shop in the River Market, it's across the street from a huge antique emporium and if not to purchase something, at least to talk to the owner - he's very interesting!

I stopped in here after eating next door at Cafe al Dente (yummmmm! Pizza!). I found a great 'garden' type flag for Father's Day (spinner, actually). They had a number of college flags on display, US flags, garden flags, and smaller flags for many, many countries. The gentlemen working were friendly and helpful when asked. Even when I asked to take the spinner out of the bag to make sure all parts were there and easily assembled, he was very helpful and gracious. The prices were VERY reasonable. I was surprised that they didn't cost more.(Hint: if KCMO is doing some of their seemingly constant road/curb/sidewalk/water line work, if you see a parking spot that isn't restricted.......take it! Or just walk a bit from the lot half a block......(east, maybe??)

I've been getting my flags from All Nations since the early 90s. This place has variety and novelty. With the rebirth of the RiverMarket All Nations provides a unique and friendly shopping experience. Customs orders can also be accommodated on most requests.

I have been using this business for years for my racing business in the Kansas and Missouri area. They have made me numerous custom flags, feather flags, and banners for my events and my work at KCKCC-LVC. They even helped me get a flag to my wife in Baghdad during the war. Personally they installed my front yard flag pole for me. It stands today just as solid as it did the day it was installed some 20 years ago. They are a great company who know the meaning of service after the sale, and quality items. The people in that business are super, great to talk with, helpful, and fun. You could not find a better business in this area than All Nations Flags.

I hate to do this to KC Flag as they are a local company that was decent in the past but ... they short shipped an order to me and have never responded to 2 voice mails (they don't answer the phone anymore, at least the 7 timed I've called them over the past 2 weeks...) and an email to their 'Sales@kcflag' email address. It's not about the $21 that I finally had to call my credit card company to dispute, it is about ethical business practices and customer service. Sad.

I needed three Canadian provincial desk-sized flags. Being from Kansas City, I called All Nations Flag directly on Thursday. Though they didn't have these particular flags in stock, ANF placed a special order. They called me the following Monday, and I picked up my flags that afternoon. I really appreciated their personal service. Their prices were very fair, and I'm still surprised how fast I received my special order. I'm always happy to support these local small businesses that provide value and service! For locals, ANF offers an in-store drop-off box to collect old, torn, and tattered US/state flags that for an honorable retirement. If you're in KC, think about visiting our City Market for lunch & a stroll, and the ANF store: I enjoyed seeing all their assorted USA, state, international, KC sports/collegiate, and other specialty flags and gifts.

Great place to pick up any flag you could possibly want or need. I had looked everywhere for a small Colombian flag for a costume, finally found one here. Also picked up a Kansas flag for a gift. The woman who helped me was very nice and informed me which fabrics do best in crazy Kansas wind.
