Ahadu coffee

This spot is inside a medical building in Lees Summit by Frontier Justice. Happenstance placed me close by and I'm so glad. I received quite more than just the Ahadu special. Teddy the owner, was kind enough to educate me on his business journey along with the birth of coffee in Africa.. Ethiopia be exact. The Ahadu special 20oz consists of 4 shots of espresso which his technique of grounds is not overbearing, but it wasn't bitter as he gave me a cup of straight Java. The additional ingredients are caramel, vanilla and two nuts of which he'd only reveal one... almond. It was such a delicious and delightful mixture.

Super friendly and my latte was great. Plenty of chairs, but not a lot of outlets.They're located in a "van" in the lobby in front of BOOST Physical Therapy & Sports Performance.

I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee spot. I had no idea it was in this building! It's a super cute airstream coffee truck in the foyer of a sports/medical building. Great coffee, and plenty of seating.

Please update your yelp hours :(We drove 20 minutes just to find this place is closed. Such a bummer!

I have been here several times, and always enjoy the food and service. Today, I enjoyed my crepe as usual, but also had one of the strongest and perfect mochas imaginable.

Came for a deep mug of hot frothy delightfully milky chai and enjoyed every sip. So tasty with rich deep flavor and just what I needed to infuse life back into me on this cold December afternoon.I don't like star anise and most chai has a real bite to me, I haven't asked if they include that in their house blend but if they do they know how to blend it in seamlessly. Also I really appreciate that it's not very sweet. Surprised to see that on Fridays they offer a selection of savory and sweet crepes now.

My husband and I stopped here to try the crepes and coffee, and we were pleasantly surprised! The owner was very friendly and took the time to explain his coffee options to us. This is a wonderful non-chain coffee option in Lee's Summit!

My first but not last trip to Ahadu. I made a second trip to get my first eggnog latte with an extra shot today. I used the drive thru and got a a cup of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe this morning.. A lovely single bean roast just like I like coffee.The barista working the drive thru window was friendly and engaged in conversation.On my afternoon trip I git to meet the owner and learn how they get their beans direct from Ethopia and roast them locally.This is the first coffee shop to see my favorite Christmas/Holiday beverage on the menu. The eggnog latte. I went back and it's the best.Clean restrooms and a quiet place to work and visit.For a drive thru and coffee experience today. With a background in world travel and multiple successful careers, he has now dedicated himself to the art of coffee. And trust me, he takes it to a whole new level!He personally brews everything--from the chai tea to the coffee--ensuring every cup is crafted with love and expertise. When I ordered a chai, he generously offered me a sample of the coffee just so I could experience its quality. It's clear that Ahadu Coffee isn't just a business; it's a labor of love.If you're in the area, stop by--not just for the great coffee but for an experience that feels personal and genuine.
