PSA for brides...Always read reviews. (For example, the previous Ken McDonald review) Our experience was almost identical. I was the Maid of Honor in a wedding in April and words cannot describe how unprofessional the photographers and DJ were from beginning to end.To start, they were BOTH LATE. The bride had filled out several pages of paperwork (that they provided) as to pictures etc. that the couple wanted. NONE of that happened. They arrived at the venue sloppily dressed, (jeans and hoodies) and we had to track them both down in the parking lot to even get them started and the first words out of the photographer's mouth was "So what do you want us to do?" What was the sense of the list of what pictures the couple wanted captured and songs they wanted played if they weren't even going to bring them to use?Neither of the 2 photographers seemed to have ANY experience. They put us in line ups with the sun directly in our faces so that 90% of the pictures the entire wedding party is squinting, they NEVER gave us a "1, 2, 3" so that anyone knew when to smile etc. There was a slight breeze, and, in several pictures, the bridal party had their hair FULLY covering their faces, we literally had to ask them to stop for a moment so that we could re-adjust. They took several pictures that had horrible shading on everyone's faces or they took pictures from down below which is always a no-no. ALL of these are Photography 101.We were at a beautiful outdoor apple orchard and the ONLY place they thought to put us was with a highway directly behind us with cars driving by and houses in it??? It was bad enough that myself and two other bridesmaids after 45 mins had to take control and get them to move us to other parts of the venue etc. Neither the bride nor groom in particular got specific pictures with their immediate family, moms, brothers, children etc. There were no pictures of the guys getting ready and they missed 95% of the bride getting ready and the few pre-wedding pictures we did get of the bride were again because the bridal party had to step in.It was the same with the DJ. It was asked that he come to the rehearsal the night before to get the lay of the land etc. They did not. Again, he showed up late (he arrived 30 mins before wedding ceremony) and then of course had technical difficulties that delayed the start of the wedding, that had he been at rehearsal as requested, could have easily been avoided. Last, but not least, while we were setting up for the reception, he advised a brides family member that "her ass was in the way..."We (the ENTIRE wedding party) are heartbroken for our bride and groom. If we could leave LESS than one star, we would. Definitely would NOT recommend. It makes sense now that individuals do not have the ability to leave reviews on their Facebook page or their main business page...
