The most giving, loving, spirit filled wonderful church you will ever experience...the "woke" may not like it because Pastor Phil is not afraid to, when appropriate, preach the non watered down truth at it pertains to the times we are living in today...but I can guarantee he lines his life and his preaching 100% with the word of God. They have helped more hurting and needful people in the KC area than any source you can find, and there focus is to preach CHRIST.

My family loves Abundant Life! We've been attending here for around 6 years and don't plan on changing that any time soon.Pastor Phil and Pastor Chad are awesome. They're so nice and always speak the best sermons to glorify our Lord.

I love coming here on Sunday's because it a break from life! There are people from different backgrounds and life stories that come through the doors. We have 3 services and they all deliver as expected week in and week out! We start with 2-3 songs and then hear a relevant message that applies to our lives today. Our overall mission is to be a living proof of a loving God to a watching world. We also love to see lives changed by Jesus.

We have been attending for almost 1year. We had been hopping churches for a while never really finding where we fit in. A friend suggested we attend a service. Needless to say, we found our home! God is truly present in this place. We have joined a discipleship group and once we are done with that, we look forward to the next steps God is ready for us to take. If you have not found you church home, please come join us on Sunday. The kids program is awesome, the coffee shop is a nice stop before service, and the story room after service is a great way to get to know you your pastors.

I am 21 now and would go to this church in my younger days starting at 14. The church would hold these big events that a lot of kids would attend called "Fusion" with all the kids attending being in my age range. The events were always a little off the way they were held, being that the church had a large capacity they were always able to hold a considerably large amount of kids. The staff would never be able to manage all of them. The staff would have their power trips though and get as many they could in trouble for talking during service, listening to music, or just straight up causing problems. Regretting to see the biggest issue the vast majority of kids would go there for. This place was a way for the children with the strictest household and children of all backgrounds to have a big spot to get together and get what they want. I didn't know a single person that would attend these "Fusion" events that didn't go just to get one hit of illicit substance. The most innocent ones would start their addiction at this church and not even realize it. Every single one of them that I came across would trade nicotine vapes with each other and hid it pretty well in the crowd. A smaller percentage of them, but still large enough to be concerned (about 35%) would get their hands on THC pens or vapes. Not to mention the smaller percentage that smoked cannabis around the outside of the church premises. The staff would catch some of these kids but had no clue the size of children that were actually participating... Or let's hope they didn't. These church events should have been shut down a long time ago and to my knowledge kids still go there and do this, but maybe not to the same extent. Church should be held with the people who want to go there for their religious reasons, the ones conscious enough to make their own decisions(the adults). Not held with kids. I don't think we should be giving pre-teens and teens an option to mass congregate at such a place. Especially, at the hands of people who can not possibly keep track of or control this many children. This church also preaches HATE against same-sex couples!!! Not only does this church teach discrimination to your children, "Abundant Life" uses its church for political purposes which is ILLEGAL, because it is not taxed. The people who help set up these events are also the ones running for your school board. Heather Eslick & Jennifer Fool-ey (pun intended) are already members of the school board who also attend this church; making decisions of how your child will experience the most significant part of their life. However, Dan Blake & Bill Haley are also running for school board who are all right wing religious extremist. Now if I was a parent, I would never let my child attend this church even if It was for fun and games. Much less would I want any of these people to hold a position in the school board in their attempts to implement religion; dictating how my child will be treated by the school system. Because even though freedom of religion is good, it also means freedom from religion.
