I called the other day because my lawnmower wasn't working. The lady that answered the phone was down right rude and told me they couldn't even look at my mower until August. If they are that behind why don't they hire more help. So basically they either don't want business or can't be bothered by anyone. I will not be using them.

This place was great! They have a nice searchable catalog of manuals on their website. I was able to find my parts & called to order them. It took 4 business days but I wasn't in a hurry. I went to pick them up and realized I had inadvertently ordered a wrong piece. However they made it right with me when I bought some other parts I needed & I didn't have to pay for the wrong piece. Very helpful. Friendly. Definite recommend for small engine parts.

Worst business in KC. They have been GOUGING customers for over 40 years. I can't believe they are still in business. Their survival is dependent on switching brands. Any part not in their inventory is considered 'special order'. This means it can't be returned, and they add additional shipping charges without notice. Everything they sell can be purchased online for 1/3 of their prices. DO NOT PURCHASE OR ORDER FROM THIS "BUSINESS"!!!!!!

Wouldn't even look at what I had. Have a craftsman weedeater and the clutch and it is bad or going bad anyway. The service tech said he wouldn't even look at it because it was Craftsman really your mechanic shop for small engine repair what the hell difference does it make what a customer brings in to be repaired. I will never go back.

Dropped my mower for a repair was told it would take 6 weeks to fix, it took 8 weeks instead! So I'm the day it was FINALLY ready I go to pick it up wait 20 mins behind the counter for someone to ask if they could help me they finally bring the mower out, charge me $164, I take it home and it won't start! One star is simply too generous

I was notified by Ken that the maintenance on our mower was finished so when I arrived at the service department there was a customer ahead of me who was getting his grass trimmer repaired so I patiently waited for someone to wait on me. No one acknowledged I was there after waiting for approximately 10 minutes. Several employees passed by me not asking me how they could help me. I thought maybe they were short of employees but that was not the case since there were several employees that periodically walked by me. I left without my mower after 15 minutes of waiting. I'll try again today.

I have to give 3 stars because it's only fair since I've never had any issues with them for decades. Recently however, I ordered a part for my mower and they called to let me know when it arrived and said I could bring it in to have it installed during business hours. Well, yesterday was Friday and not a holiday weekend or anything so I loaded up the mower with my bad back and made the drive there at about 1:00. They advertise their hours as being open until 5:00 on Fridays. The place was closed. Not a soul in sight and no sign explaining why they were closed during business hours. I'm hoping that it wasn't because of something serious as I know that it's a family owned business so I can understand if there were a family emergency or something. If that's not the case then it's very upsetting that they would do this without at least posting a reason on the door or changing the voicemail message to explain the situation. It was a big waste of my time, effort, and fuel and definitely a reason to begin looking elsewhere for quality and reliable small engine repair and maintenance. I'd do it myself but because I'm on disability because my back is so bad it's difficult to do that kind of work.

These guys have been my go-to for lawnmowers and service for over 12 years. When I lived out of town I made the drive to KC north just to have AAA complete the service. Wait time is minimal, staff is friendly, parts reliable, and service always as promised or SOONER. They are busy and it is easy to see why--great merchandise and knowledgeable staff. The only time I had any difficulties after service I took the mower back and it had been MY ERROR. They were patient, friendly, showed me my error, and didn't charge me for their time. WONDERFUL FOLKS! Highest recommendation.

Bought my mower here and that went fine so I thought I'd take it back here for service. I don't know if they could have made the experience worse if they had tried. Had my mower for over a month, never called when they promised, and when I did get it back the fuel line leaked. When I took it apart I found a bulging line that was too short. What else can I say.
