AAA Event Rental

Before returning my rental items I had every intention of writing a 5 star review. However upon dealing with the curt woman behind the counter today, I can certainly understand the other reviews about AAA lacking customer service. I was very pleased to be able to go online and view my options prior to calling. Luckily I knew what I needed, sizes etc... When I called to place my order, the woman on the phone was quick, courteous and professional. She quoted me a price that was more than reasonable. She explained the amount due to hold the order as well as the deposit that I would have to put down (that was refundable) when picking up my order. An invoice was promptly emailed to me that reflected our phone conversation. When I went to pick up my order again everything was ready to go, they processed my payment and I popped around back and the gentleman at the loading dock got everything nicely into my car. The items were clean, nicely packaged and in good shape. I even had compliments at my small event as to how nice the items looked! When I went to return my items today, the woman behind the counter wasn't pleasant and seemed irritated that I was in the store. She gave me my return slip she said to take it around back and drop it off. When I asked her about the deposit going back on my account she very curtly replied that they would check my items in and determine at that point if my deposit would be refunded. It was almost as if she was implying that I had damaged the items. As I know everything was in perfect shape, I thanked her, returned the items and on my way I went. I would recommend using AAA if you know what you want and don't need someone to happily walk you through their items.

Do Not Use AAA Party RentalThe large delivery truck drove off the driveway in multiple places creating large trenches in the yard that will require repair. The company refused to fix the issue or give any credit. They claim their contract releases them from any damage they do to property. It's unfortunate when a someone won't take responsibility when their employees break or inflict damage. In my opinion, AAA Party Rental is a company that you should stay away from. They are not worthy of your hard earned money. We should have used All Seasons as we have had great experiences with them over the years.

CUSTOMER BEWARE! Like others, we also paid AAA Party Rental a $1,816 "down payment" in February for an upcoming rental event in May. Three weeks after making the reservation, we called to cancel. Karen told me we would receive our refund back "as soon as possible". It has now been over five months and they are not returning phone calls or emails.

We had to cancel our event due to covid, and asked for a refund on our deposit well in advance before the event date. Talked to "Karen" and she said yes there was no problem doing that. We are at 45 days and still no refund. We called to ask what's going on and why our deposit has not been refunded and Karen's response was " I don't haven any answers for you".

tl;dr false advertising, very poor quality, unfriendly service, unhappy customersWe had a retreat for women and needed to seat over 35 people. We ordered 18 thin tables that seat 2-3 people. The tables we received were definitely not like they were advertised on the website. The only thing the person said was that they were unfinished (does not describe the tables). The tables we got were dusty, had cobwebs on them, smelled moldy, and the tops had nail divots and tons of scratches (hard to write on). One table had metal sticking out the side which someone actually got snagged on walking by (thankfully they didn't get scratched otherwise they probably would have needed a tetanus shot!). A couple didn't even latch. When we called to ask for the ones that were shown on the site, they said they were out. They were definitely unfriendly and unapologetic for the quality of the tables.

Our experience with this company was just awful. We rented chairs and tableware from them for our wedding ceremony and reception and THANK GOODNESS we had a wedding coordinator to deal with them because they were 1) VERY late and 2) so disorganized that a good chunk of her work was devoted to sorting out the mess they caused. Even though we asked that they make an effort to show up in a timely fashion so our groomsmen could set up the chairs (since the company charges $1 per chair for setup), they didn't show up. The groomsmen had to leave to go get ready, and the deliverymen finally showed up almost two hours after they were supposed to. The men that showed up were smelly, sweaty, filthy and in completely inappropriate clothing. They also dumped and dashed without staying to make sure we had everything we'd ordered. Our coordinator specifically requested that they wait and let her check off everything on the list, but they refused. The boxes and bags were also not labeled, so it was not easy nor quick to check things to make sure everything in our contract was there - which it was not.They also refused to help set up the chairs since our help was gone. Consequently, my bridesmaids and family members had to pitch in and set them up ... and then spray and clean them after we saw how filthy they were. Not only were the white wood folding chairs dirty, they had also been stacked immediately after being spray-painted, so when we unstacked them, the paint peeled off and chipped and they just looked like cheap crap. Several seats were also broken, rendering the chairs unsafe and unable to use - and a couple were BLACK! Not only the issues with those chairs, but also linen order was incorrect and several plates and glasses were chipped and had to be put aside and not used. Then the company had the audacity to come back after the event and tell us more than 20 wine glasses were missing. Well, their deliverymen didn't even ensure everything was delivered in the first place. We returned everything we got, in the condition we received it in, and you can be sure the company, not us, misplaced those "missing" wine glasses. They also dumped the wedding arch and didn't bother to set it up, even though it was specified in our contract that they would put it together. And their stage looks like total crap - we had to cover it up with a white sheet to make it look presentable. The only reason I didn't end up in tears on my wedding day was because of my wonderful coordinator. If you don't want stress on your special day, DON'T use this company.

As some people might know, I throw a lot of parties. And with that comes the chore of dealing with a large number of vendors and suppliers. Having now worked with AAA a few times, I'll safely say that I'm a fan. Reading over the other reviews, I think we went in and thus came out with different expectations. I did the vast majority of my research online rather than in the showroom, and had a pretty locked down list of what I wanted by the time I even first made contact with them. What I got back was prompt, friendly service that was utterly professional. This goes for everybody I dealt with, whether on the phone or in person, once it was time for delivery. I just can't relate to the people who said they had a poor customer service experience, because mine was anything but. I would say that on delivery is where they really shined. They arrived well within their allotted window of time, and the gentlemen were helpful, ultra-fast and personable. They showed me how to use the outdoor heaters, and we shared a laugh about people not being able to figure out how to work what essentially functions like a gas grill. Everything was smooth as can be. The prices are reasonable, and my quote from AAA was certainly lower than the other companies I looked at. I made some last minute changes and they were able to accommodate me w/o charging me an arm and a leg, and due to scheduling conflicts essentially gave me 2 days worth of rental for the price of one. So this all sounds rather glowing, so why 4 stars and not 5? A couple things. First of all, the outdoor heaters that I rented were REALLY dinged up. I didn't mind so much for this event, but if I was planning something formal, I'd be embarrassed to have those on display. Also, while most of the prices were great, I tried to get coat check tags from them, and they were a ridiculous .40 each! For PAPER TAGS! Planning on having a 400 person event, I'd have to spend $160 just for the tags. That's RIDICULOUS. So moral of the story: good, professional staff. Great prices on everything but little pieces of paper. I definitely recommend AAA Party Rental.

I have used this company twice. Each time I have returned the equipment, they say something is missing. And they keep part of my deposit. The second time I rented plates my husband counted them twice and I counted them once. Guess what they said I was 10 plates short and kept part of my deposit. Fool me once shame on you Fool me twice shame on me. Will NEVER use them again.

their prices have become ridiculously high. We had to purchase table linen for our daughters reception online with another company . I had called 8 months earlier to reserve and was told call back a month before we needed them . The price was 7.00 per linen . 20 tables would have been 140.00 to rent. I called back in the right time period and only to find out it was now a total of 500.00!!! I purchased online for 8.00 each, 60x120 inches. guess I donate to a community service place when we are done .

I had great experience with AAA Party Rental, I needed seminar tables last minute and was able to find them here for a very reasonable cost! Karen was very helpful and patient with me over the phone while ordering. I had no issues picking up or dropping off.I will say, the tables were unfinished wood, but they did the job I needed and looked great with tables cloths, which I would have used anyway!
