9th Street Cafe

Recently tried out the newly-opened 9th St Cafe; heard it was opened by the same folks who own Burrito King. So, so yummy! The vibe is chill & comfy, the food is FRESH and tasty, and the service is very friendly. It was recommended we try the weekly special- 5 meat chili & cornbread- and it was so flavorful. Just on the edge of spicy, and the cornbread was moist & dense, like a pound cake studded with kernels of corn throughout.My sister and I split 3 entrees (we like to try as much as possible)- the chili, the southwest chicken quinoa bowl, and the blueberry cranberry turkey sandwich. My favorite was probably the sandwich... now, when you read the ingredient list, it includes 'cabbage' with no other description (which we found odd). It's actually thinly sliced red cabbage that both visually and texturally adds so much to the experience.As a coffee person (I like it black), I was pleased to see a self-serve station, though the addition of rock sugar sticks as coffee stirrers is a cute addition!The prices are very reasonable for the quality, service and ambiance. I could easily see myself becoming a regular, here! So glad to have this option for off-Mass brunch tastiness.

I looked at the menu before I went in and didn't see much that I was in the mood for on a rainy day but I was curious to see what the ambience was like and what else might be on offer. I decided to just get a vanilla latte and a pastry and the service felt a little awkward. The latte tasted like sugar-free vanilla which I don't like and the pastry tasted day old at best. Not long after I sat down the staff put some kind of commercial radio on which didn't add to the ambience. Not the experience I was hoping for.

Yummy and different twist they have all the things like pasta to chill. They have a beautiful garlic bread sandwiches. I love the tea.

Great selection of Mexican foods. The breakfast options are matched with excellent drinks and generous portion sizes. The lunch offerings offer variety and delicious options including vegetarian dishes. Top off with desserts and you have a welcome addition to Lawrence's restaurant scene. Super option for people also looking for fast and flavorful take out. You won't be disappointed. Great prices too!

We stopped at this cute little cafe on our way from Branson and the food was amazing (as you can see, we couldn't even get a photo before chowing down)! The service was great, our food came out quickly and we got the drinks and apps early on. Staff was respectful and kind when we asked for changes to our quinoa dish to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Look I'm all for a cafe. I love expensive coffee and smoothies. However I got a smoothe here and it tastes really really bad. It cost 8 hard earned dollars. Furthermore the barista wasn't all that friendly. In the background the news is blasting accompanied by random music in the back. Not worth the money. Not worth the vibe. That's all I've got. :/ I really wanted to like this place because it's within walking distance of my house but I guess I'll have to find another place.

Food was not good we ordered and all of our food came out at different times and was all wrong this sucks because we live so close we really really wanted this to be good
