99 Hops House - Kansas City

The service was frustratingly slow during my visit. Despite there being only six people at the bar, it took an unusually long time for the bartender to greet us and take our food order. The atmosphere felt off, as the manager--or at least someone who appeared to be the manager--was preoccupied with helping out in the back with dishes. While he made brief eye contact with us, he didn't acknowledge our presence or offer any assistance, which added to the disappointment.Additionally, I noticed that half of the TVs weren't on, which was a letdown, especially since it's a sports bar where I expected to enjoy some games while dining. Overall, I'm unsure if this was just an off day for the staff or if this is the usual experience here. As a first-time visitor, I left feeling underwhelmed and less inclined to return.

99 Hops House is my go to place when spending some time at Argosy Casino. The food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Get the queso and chips for an appetizer. The queso cheese is thick and tasty and hot. I ordered the fish and chips which come with 4 planks of cod battered up well and fries and tartar sauce. Of course you've got a choice 99 beers and the service is attentive and very good. Ask for Mustafa as your server- he'll take good care of you!

We had a quick dinner here. Our server Mustoffa (sp?) was great and provided quick and friendly service with recommendations for the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was great and the sweet potato fries and onion rings were also great and with hefty portions. You can get a chicken Philly if you want and add jalapeños if you like.

We stopped in for a quick bite. We ordered the queso and chips. The queso came out in a huge bowl with plenty of chips. My fiancé ordered the western burger that came with two patties and bacon with an order of fries included. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and a side salad. The broccoli cheddar soup was amazing! Our waitress was speedy and very polite even with a full house.

Food is alright. service not bad. Atmosphere is vibrant and bright. Drink not bad either. Fairly priced, I think.

The beer is ice cold. There are multiple TVs to watch all kinds of sports. The food and drinks came out fast and with a smile! Excellent hamburgers and sides of fries or onion rings. Double burgers are full of beef and lots of fresh vegetable toppings. Just a wonderful place for burgers and beers!I would highly recommend!!We will certainly come back again. I've never had a problem (dine-in) with anything other than a wait time, which could easily be expected at a casino eaterie. I've made the mistake of ordering takeout one too many times.It's like they play a shell game with their to go containers. I suggest that you never order food to go for someone you're trying to impress, you will lose every time. I called to let the employees know a couple times in hopes that managment would put the takeout team notice, to no avail. I would definitely find alternative eating sources if you plan on an evening at the Argosy Casino. It's like being double screwed as you walk out the door.

I tried out 99 HOPS while in Riverside MO and enjoyed my lunch. Ordered the Italian Hamburger and it was very good. Also paired it with the Boulevard Berry Noir Sour and loved it.

I like to get the Crispy Pork sandwich which I love! The only thing is you have to ask not to have the sauce which makes me sick removed! But no matter if I get it to go or stay and I ask to have it plain no sauce! Just lettuce, tomatoes and onion. I get the sauce which makes it inedible for me! But no matter what I say or do I get the sauce. Asking to see a manager is a joke! Penn has really lost its desire to give amazing customer service!

Being the only restaurant that's open for lunch and dinner and drinks opens at noon. The people are wonderful in here and the food's great.
