54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar

I've been coming here for years, and it's still one of my favorite go-to spots. I recently came for lunch with my mom and little sister, and our server was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.I noticed they've switched to using glass milk bottles for water, letting you pour it yourself. As someone who drinks a lot of water, I really appreciated not having to wait for refills--it was such a nice touch!I've never had a bad meal here, and this visit was no exception. The food was excellent, and I enjoyed it as much as always!

The first night I ordered take out it was delicious. I was so happy about it, I went for a second night in a row. I went to the take out area and I told a server my name and what I was waiting on. It wasn't ready, so I patiently waited for about 25 min. I thought one of the multiple servers walking past me as I stood in the take out area against the wall on my phone, would stop and ask me or bring me my take out. They didn't. They don't give a fuck because they don't make tips on it. I finally asked the bartender what was up with my take out, this was almost 50 min after I put the order in.I got the food home. It was cold and the chicken was so overcooked I could barely get the knife through it. And apparently the chefs here don't know how to prepare asparagus. You break off the hard fibrous ends! Duh. This happened both times I ordered here. These are culinary basics.The food is overpriced for what it is. If you order takeout, ask the servers multiple times about your food, because they def don't care, and the management has a very ineffective system of giving people takeout. Never again.

Food was good service was confusing however they were training so it didn't bother us. Love all the signs on the walls giving it a unique look.

Come for the food. I mean it!! COME FOR THE WONDERFUL FOOD!We were a family group of six. The kids and grandkids opted for sandwiches. We grandparents chose REAL food. I loved every bite of my Tom's Sole, Parmesan crusted with a white wine butter sauce, served with perfectly prepared asparagus spears with a side of Dressed Roasted Brussels Sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were ~~hands down~~my FAVORITE!My husband who is WILD about pasta, was astounded by his Spinach & Artichoke Pasta with shrimp and chicken. Melt in your mouth chicken, lots of shrimp, but oh that SAUCE!! Be prepared!! Review the extensive menu from home before ordering. The selections are vast and varied. I imagine we will DEFINITELY return.

My favorite place to get wings! The wings are always fresh. The sauce is amazing! The service, it's good as well.

The food was very good-typical bar type food.I got some appetizers: the burger, stuffed fried mushrooms, and calamari. I enjoyed them all. The server was great, very friendly.

Early dinner in a Saturday night at 5pm. Parking lot was full and looks to be packed. We got a table right away without any wait time. Waitress came out and took our orders right away. We both had a salad and steak dinner. Family friendly casual dining atmosphere. Good variety of food selection. Our steak dinner was good and cooked like we wanted. Waitress was attentive. This place is always busy and seem to be a popular place for casual dining.

We had a really great lunch with a chicken avocado griller and fries. They have a special right now for a $10 lunch and I have to say that the servings are very generous and it's a very great price for a lunch. The food was very tasty. The chicken itself was about 3/4 inch high and very juicy, done to perfection and very tasty. The server was very polite and attentive to refills. It was busy because it was lunch hour, and we had decent service . It's a very colorful place with lots of hanging fixtures and many things to look at.

Overall, pretty good - I ordered nachos as an appetizer - which was SO good - it really hit the spot. We probably should've went 'light' on the cheese because there was a TON of it (I know most people like this though). For the main mail, I got a veggie burger and it was delicious.The server was really on the ball too. She kept an eye on us and refilled our drinks multiple times, making sure we were well taken care of. Great service!Now, here comes the not-so-great part. The food was very tasty, but there was just too much grease and oil for my liking. We like our meals on the healthy side, and they went wayyyyy overboard with the oil - it's so unnecessary, too - it's not like it improves the flavor when it's that greasy.But overall, I'll give 54th St Bar and Grill a thumbs up. The nachos and veggie burger were winners, and the service was pretty great. Note to the establishment: PLEASE go easy on the grease next time!!

I'm honestly confused on what this random stringy stuff is ..... the description says Romain lettuce, parm cheese and Caesar dressing and the picture looks other wise.
