Good food and great service! Well worth the drive for a great tenderloin. Not only are they large, they taste great! We had a group of 20 people and they accommodated us without issue with only 1/2 hours notice.

Unless you smoke or want to smell and breathe smoke while you're trying to eat you DON'T want to come here. They still allow smoking indoors and it's so bad I had to walk out without eating and leave my family and food. Now I'm starving and at best will have to get my food to go and eat it cold which will be subpar at best if it's anything like the food I've eaten here before. I see people say it's a place good for kids and families but unless you want them breathing secondhand smoke it's not. Get with the times please and make it smoking outdoors only. If people can't go the length of time it takes to eat without smoking they need rehab not food. I'd have good things to mostly say if not for that. My family members enjoy the food, I'll say that and the staff I've encountered are nice but some of them smoke inside themselves. That's the best you're getting from me.

You can't go wrong with whatever you order here. Everything we've ordered has been great. Service is pretty good as long as you don't hit it on a super busy day. Sometimes they get swamped and it takes a bit to get your food, but what are you gonna do. It's worth waiting for and it's very rare it'll be that busy(holiday weekends).We like calling in a to go order on Sunday on our way out and eating on the road.

Wow!!! Hot and fresh food....a small out of the way place for great tenderloin. I didn't expect such great food and wonderful service. Wow.

This place is truly amazing they fill your milk glass to the brim and the short stack is so big it's falling off the plate if you're looking for good quality food this is the place for you the sausage is filled with juice and flavor 254 cafe is very old looking but don't judge a book by its cover the food is amazing.

They're conveniently located across from The Triangle and only a mile from my home.They have great food and friendly service. Their tenderloins are great and their regular size could make two meals. I can't imagine ordering the large size. I also like their specials as they offer many different choices. I like their chicken liver basket. They're one of the few places that actually offer chicken livers in this area.I deducted one star because of pricing and limited hours.

Love their tenderloin BUT their Mexican food was awful! 34 dollars for a burrito and nachos awful!

Rainy morning on the lake, our family headed to the 254 Cafe. The service was great, the portions sizes more than we could eat, and the food was so good!!Definitely a local spot, just what you are looking for in a small town.

Restaurant is good.food is good.We are very good customers there.However, today the waitresses decided that she was going to implement the one refill ruleShe charged us for refills on ice tea, and Diet Coke.Probably won't go back.

My family went their for breakfast the morning of my wedding. The food and prices were pretty good but the service was awful. The waitress was more interested in chatting with other customers than in providing service to us. We had to ask multiple times for refills even on coffee and water. When we tried to check out, she hadn't fully filled the ticket out so we had to wait for her to check us out. She told us to wait while she took refills and condiments to other customers...go figure. Another waitress had to tell her to hurry up and check us out because I was getting angry. We won't go back.
