I was in Seattle for a couple days and just wanted something really good and not too expensive. I hopped on Yelp and the reviews lead me to the right place. The butter chicken was delicious! It wasn't as spicy as I'm use to but between the two of us we inhaled it like nobodies businessSamosas so good we ended up ordering another to go. I believe they came with a green sauce, get that!

We came for dinner and really enjoyed our meal. First, the location is in a handy spot and we easily found street parking in the evening. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of things that we shared - chicken tikka masala (YUM), butter chicken (YUM), and the mango curry with paneer (just ok). And the garlic naan was really good. We also needed to order a second bowl of rice for the four of us. All in all, really tasty and I left quite full.

Food - the food was quite good. I appreciated the customizability of the food options. Most had several vegetarian and/or vegan options. Most of the usual choices were there along with a few unique ones. I had palak paneer and my partner had the butter masala chicken. We both had chai and garlic naan. I think the chai and naan were my favorite part of the meal, though I did enjoy my main course. They did serve rice with the meal as well. Service - very attentive and polite. They answered my questions to confirm vegetarian items and portion sizes. They were also efficient in taking our order and bringing out items. Ambiance - it's a smaller spot but it's a nicely decorated spot with white table linens and such. Definitely enough for a date night without feeling snobby. The prices were very very reasonable for Seattle too. I would say good quality for value and we would return.

I had lunch with two of my friends past Friday and This restaurant is my friend's go-to restaurant so she suggested it. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Their portion is big, 2 entrees are definitely enough for 3 people to share and we didn't even finish everything. The price is affordable, and the bill came up to $18 per person after tax and tips.This is my first time trying biryani, the rice was flavorful and the chicken was tender and all in big pieces.They offer different spicy levels for each dish, we ordered level 2 and we loved it.The staff members are friendly, and we had a good experience dining here.

-1 for no flavor from the butter chicken-1 for not spicy at all -1 customer service I went first time and really liked the chicken but it wasn't spicy at all at medium spice, second time I went the butter chicken was sweet... too sweet. I asked the server about it but she's like it's supposed to be like that... I didn't like her attitude. Naan was not bad. Would not come again.

Food here was great! Got the madras curry with chicken, garlic naan, appetizer sampler, a mango lassi, and a sweet lassi to share with my boyfriend. The madras curry was very flavorful and chicken pieces were tender, a decent portion as well. The appetizer sampler was a perfect way to try a couple of different things. The mango lassi was a great consistency and had lots of mango flavor.The service and ambiance were good too!

I went here with 2 friends for a late dinner, and this is one of the places that were open late (until 11pm). We were seated immediately and ordered 2 entrees and naan to share, which is just enough food for 3 people. We got garlic basil naan, raita to cool down on the spices, butter chicken masala, and mango curry special with paneer. We got spice level 2 for butter chicken masala and spice level 3 for the mango curry. Level 2 is a good spot in general for me, as level 3 is way too spicy but fortunately the raita cooled down the heat a bit. I enjoyed the garlic basil naan as it had a very prominent garlic flavor and the naan is perfectly toasted yet soft inside. The butter chicken masala is good - a bit common of a dish for Indian-American cuisine but they did it well. I wasn't a fan of the mango curry as I tasted more jalapeños than mango so that was a miss.I also sampled the mango lassi which is quite creamy and fruity. However, it was a bit pricey at $6. Regardless, the price in this place is pretty solid and if you share, it's pretty affordable relative to a lot of places in the downtown / Belltown area.

Absolutely love this spot for some tasty Indian food! Can't get enough of their butter chicken, chili Naan, and chicken tikka! The chili Naan with those spicy chilis on top, It's fantastic! And the butter chicken, it's Creamy, with just the right amount of spice. Plus, the chicken tikka is juicy and tender, with the perfect sauce! Just how I like it.Despite its cozy size, the restaurant has such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and quick to serve. If you're craving Indian food, this spot won't disappoint!

Wonderful Indian food, terrible indifferent service. If you don't mind your food coming in different shifts and not really eating a meal together you should come here. The food is very tasty and authentic. You can get lots of vegetarian options here and the food is fresh. The neighborhood is a bit gritty but it's worth going there if you can dwell on the food and not on the service. Why they don't retrain their staff to treat customers like guests baffles me. They would have many more repeat customers. They have a major takeaway business and perhaps from people who would rather not endure the staff's attitude of take it or leave it. Diners are encouraged to order by phone, and pay by phone from their table a trend I find very impersonal and more fast food than sit down service.
