Kampo Cuisine - Auburn

This place has good food and service. So I first ordered away from the house. The delivery services is perfect and affordable without using DoorDash or one of those apps. The delivery guy, even when running late, has great customer services. The food!!! Sweet sour prawns 4stars, Mongolian beef 4stars, fried rice 4stars, soup 4stars, salt&pepper wings 3stars.

This restaurant is AMAZING!!!!! They are hidden down by the railroad tracks on West Main in Auburn and DEFINITELY qualifies as a "hidden treasure"! I will not eat Chinese style food in my home town ever again unless it comes from hereWhen putting in special requests, they are SPOT ON!! Anna have never complained or charged extra--again-AWESOME

PACK YOUR PATIENCE... Don't come here hungry, Plan waiting...Also must be OK with credit/debit ONLINE ordering only. First disappointment, won't take orders over the phone to pay cash in person. They hurried me off the phone and told me to order online, which I would've done had I not wanted to be sure they substituted an item on my family dinner meal. We begrudgingly ordered an online fam dinner for six on Christmas Eve at 3 PM for a 5 PM pick up. My second disappointment, Time management.My husband suggested giving them advance notice of the order so that they'd be done TWO HOURS later for him to pick up. He was there at 5 PM for pick up, and they took an EXTRA HOUR & HALF after he arrived at 6:30 PM for them to complete it! He was pissed off. By this time, we'd ordered online, so they had received the money plus tax and a tip prior to the bad experience. In other words, They had 3.5 hours to complete an order they had already gotten pre-paid for + tip... and THEY DROPPED THE BALL! He's a cash man and likes to pay cash for everything. When I tried to make excuses for them and their slowness, possibly holidays, etc. He said that's bad time management on their part, and the food isn't that amazing to go through that again.

Food had no flavor, I took one bite of my shrimp. Couldn't eat my fried rice at all. Sweet and sour sauce was bland and flat.Sesame chicken was all bread and again, no flavor at all.I gave it 2 stars, because the service was amazing!

Yelp has that this place closes at 10pm but I called to make sure and the person to answered said 930pm. When we arrived at 845pm the door was locked and when they opened it they said they are only open to pick up orders. Why the heck didn't she say that when I called?!!!?

Food is amazing. Ordered for a birthday celebration and had the food delivered. The only thing that would be nice , labels on sauces.

The food was excellent and in large portions--a hidden Jem. The won ton soup was so good, along with everything we had.

This place is not a hit or miss- it's always a hit!! We usually get the soups and the rice noodles. Consistent flavors, not skimpy on the meat and simply delicious! It's our go to when we don't want to cook because it tastes like homemade (which it is). I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Never been disappointed and have been going here for years. Plus they are the nicest family.
