TL;DR: A family place in an odd little location that serves decent food for a good price. Well worth a breakfast date, with lots of options, tons of seating, and a hometown feel.The Good: tons of options for breakfast, lots of substitutions and changes can be made, and a ton of seating for all the family.The Bad: the location is a bit weird being inside of what feels like a professional building complex, but not weird enough to set me away from breakfast.

What a little hidden gem. So clean and roomy and delicious! We will return for sure. Great service, another server walked around refilling everyone's coffee! I never had to wait for a refill that is 5 stars in my book! We were all happy with the food. Well flavored and came out quick! My waffle was perfectly golden and had some crunch on the outside and so soft on the inside! The chicken was good but maybe a little brine would be good but the crust was so flavorful and good! I'd get it again! Potatoes look odd but man they were flavorful so don't let it detour you. Lots of parking, nice wide round top for 4 your plates aren't crowded like at some restaurants do it was nice. Good oldies music playing in the background was a good touch and happy! Our teen girls liked it a lot too! It is in a random strip mall but worth the find! Good prices! Great find! I love that the toast was toasted well. Bacon was crisp! Great food! I'll be back for that ham my husband had too! So flavorful Tip: Restroom is off to the side where there is another exit so please go with your kids. Door was hard to navigate with the key.

This is a great little neighborhood find. We were visiting the kids for the weekend in San Diego, and went out for a quick breakfast. We were more than pleasantly surprisedThey had a very good menu selection for both breakfast and lunch, and the prices were very reasonable. I am very picky when it comes to club sandwiches, and I will say their's is among the best I've had.The wait staff is efficient and friendly and Sebastian has served us more than once and is really good. Our new favorite place in SD.

The place is small but a great place to eat. The service is good and the servers are very attentive. I had the breakfast sandwich and I enjoyed it. The fruit was fresh as well. Was very impressed and Yelp assisted with finding this place, so thank you again.Also, I feel bad for the servers because everyone was having problems with the bathroom situation. If you haven't been to the restaurant, you will find out. Haha

Sometimes you just want to treat yourself on a Saturday morning to a wonderful breakfast without leaving the house.Kamala's definitely treats you right. They offer comfort food and plenty of it with some extras like fresh fruit salad ( delish and bananas) and sausage biscuits and gravy. ( tasted like it was made in NC), I am getting misty on the recall. Corned beef hash was the way I grew up with canned ( I would guess Hormel) , spam lovers you get it, and eggs over easy perfectly cooked. That is tough for delivery. Cali Eggs Benedict was as tasty as it looked. And a free coffee to top it off. Thanks for a great beginning to my Bday weekend!

This restaurant is tucked away from the street among a series of mixed-use office buildings. I drove right past the subtle signage when I entered the parking lot.There was abundant parking to be found on a Sunday morning when the other business are still closed thankfully.They have a covered outdoor patio carved into the parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.It was already busy when we entered at like 8am. We were greeted upon entering and waited a bit before being seated...right before the brunch rush began.Here's what we ordered:- Country fried steak: got mine with hash browns, egg whites (extra) and pancakes. The portions are proper for the price.Eggs were flavorless. needed more salt. I dusted on a generous helping of pepper while I was at it.Pancakes tasted a bit like churros (see my waffle comments below). They looked properly cooked, but had a chalky aftertaste for some reason.- Corned beef hash: ordered with eggs over medium that were still too runny, mixed fruit and sourdough toast- Nutella, strawberry and banana waffle: seemed to be deep fried and oilier than most other waffles. The batter flavor resembled churros, which is not bad, just unexpected. They were generous with the Nutella and fruit, yet sparing with the powered sugar. It made for a sweet combination of flavors for me that I enjoyed. Coffee was weak, even for my watered down tastes. I thought it was just me because I was still sleepy but i overheard another gentleman complain he needed a stronger cup of coffee made. Despite the weak brew, The staff diligently made sure everyone's cup was always topped off.Overall, it was a solid first visit. The staff were all very friendly and checked in often. And the portions are decent.

Aside from the food being great the staff is as well. We've been dining with Kamilas for 2-3 years and the food keeps getting better. One employee in particular is extremely attentive to our orders and remembers it. We love that. Thank you and support this business that is a staple to the community.
