I just wanted to stop by quickly for some Indian cuisine and get some gas along the way. Came across this place which was right inside the gas station - confusing as both doors for the restaurant side were locked. Honestly it was pretty messy due to the renovation, tools laid out with bark dust, tables wasn't wiped down, and not a customer to be seen.... I hesitated and contemplated to leave. However one of staff told me to ring the bell - which was behind the counter, so I couldn't even see it. Yet again with insistence, figured out tables are available, and menu on TV screen was turned on with 3 monitors. Since I received this much attention, figured I'll give it a go. I went for mild chicken korma, mango lassie, and lamb biriyani with garlic naan. Food arrived promptly and it was a pretty large portion. Granted my expectations can be high, as I'm used to eating fresh backed oven naan, real mango lassie made from scratch, and more of white table setting... today, I just wanted something quick and move on with my day. Sadly the convenience came with a cost, as biriyani was so spicy I couldn't take more than a bite. Staff noticed as I couldn't hide my facial expression, and he kindly brought me water. Even korma, asked to be mild, was medium for my taste buds, and naan was covered in grease, not flavor. Mango lassi was sugary and sweet.... I've managed to eat 2/3rd and couldn't take another bite as it was so heavy, and contradictory hot and sweet made me nauseated. Perhaps it was a different region of Indian cuisine I just haven't had chance to come across, but it did not bode well for my personal preferences. They didn't charge me for the biriyani which I appreciated, and got out in half hour - so I've plenty of time left for the day. Next time I'll start asking the spice level before venturing to new Indian food. Service was genuine and I wanted to enjoy it, but it's more for people who likes a spicier side.

Haven't ever done a yelp review but after attempting to eat my lamb curry from here I had to do it just to save y'all from going through what I just experienced. I'm on my lunch and only got 30 minutes, it's 1am so my options are pretty limited... it came down to between Taco Bell and this place (my lord I wish I went to T Bell ). I called in my order, and had to call twice cause the first time I couldn't hear the dude cause it sounded like some animal was screeching through the phone while he tried to talk (convinced this was the lord telling me not to go). But of course I hung up and called back and it was much better this time. I ordered the curry and he asked me if I wanted "regular" or "mild" I asked what the difference was and he told me one was regular and the other mild... I asked if I could get it spicy and he said yeah. I also got some garlic naan bread which I would regret as well. The dude then says it'll be ready in 10, so I wait about 15 minutes before I make the 2 minute drive there for my food. I thought it was closed when I got there since both entrances were closed before realizing I gotta go in through the gas station side. I go in and there's a bell to ring for service on the restaurant side of things. I ring it and a like 2 minutes later some dude comes out. I told him I'm here to pick up the phone order I placed like 20 minutes ago. He gave me a funny look and then yelled something to the cashier on the gas station side, the cashier yelled something back and he sighed and said 10 minutes, go pay over there. Paid, waited, got my food and zoomed back work. Only had like 2 minutes left so I took an extended lunch. Tried the garlic naan bread first and upon the first bite I was extremely disappointed. It tasted bland and stale, without even a hint of garlic on there. I said to myself it's okay, they'll make up for it with the curry. The rice was a little clumped together and mushy in some parts, and the curry had no flavor to it whatsoever. It's like they didn't even put any salt in there. The spicy I asked for.. not there. I had a couple bites and then realized that I was just gonna be torturing myself as this point so I gave up. Sewer rats would try a bite of this and walk away, I'm sure prisoners in Guantanamo Bay are eating better than this. If I could give them a 0 out of 5 stars I would. One good thing I will say though is the meat was very tender, and that all they had going for them. You could not pay me to eat here again

********** PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS ********Very unsanitary place. No masks were worn. Very unprofessional people. I ordered a take away order. After an hour, the order was not ready and when I reached at the restaurant, I was asked to ring a bell to call the chef. The chef did not show up for half n hour. After half n hour the chef showed up and started working on the order without mask. I had to leave the place asap.

Ummmm. Very interesting. Let me start by saying the Skippers seafood was great and I will be back!It was in a gas station which is fine but we entered from the front and had to look for where they cook the food and if they still were in business. We found it to the left behind a partitioned wall of snacks. No one was at the counter and there was a little bell. We had to "ring the bell" a few times to get service and then pay up front (where you pay for your gas). There was no one in the little dining area and It was very quite and it felt a little awkward eating in silence. I think it's quiet though because another person reviewed it saying the Indian music was so loud. ?? There were three menu topics. Teriyaki, Indian, Skippers. Like I said, the skippers fish and chips were good and The other items looked good too. Now that I know what to expect (and to use the side door). I'm sure my experience will be better Oh by the way, they do use Yelp for a 10% discount if you "like" them and they use door dash and grub hub if you want delivery.

I was just visiting my friend in Kent and trying to find a restaurant that was still open on late Sunday night around 9pm. Saw this place was open till midnight which was rare for Indian food. We were a bit skeptical at first, but the choice was either this place or junk food. We decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the place looked a bit sketchy. It was right by the gas station and the inside area was connected to the convenience store where people walked in and out. The eating area actually looked pretty decent and clean so we sat down and decided to dine in.I wasn't expecting much of the food and just ordered a safe choice, butter chicken and garlic naan. When the food arrived, they looked alright. I took the first bite on the butter chicken. OMG, the chicken just melted in my mouth. It was tender and juicy (not hard and dry). The sauce was what got me though. It smelled so appetizing and I could taste a different blend of spices in the creamy buttery sauce with a tad of sweetness to it. The spices were mildly medium, just enough to tingle my taste buds. My friend, who was not good with spicy food, couldn't resist the sauce and kept pouring them on his rice. Luckily there was enough sauce for my naan, which brings me to my next point. I had many dry, hard and burnt garlic naan before, but wow, this one was so different. It was soft, not burnt and tasty with a hint of garlic that didn't sucker punch my nose. I felt like I had eaten all the wrong garlic naan until tonight. Before we came here, we weren't that hungry and just wanted to get small bites and bring home the rest of the food. But the plan has changed and we finished all the food and we were so full.It has been several years since I've tasted Indian food this good. It brought me back memories of my first butter chicken that was just perfect and had the right combination of spices. Don't get me wrong, I've tried many Indian restaurants before and they were alright. Most of their food had a very strong smell and heavy flavors that just overwhelmed my senses. The spices were either too thick or burned my tongue. Nothing wrong with that kind of restaurant if you're looking for that. They might be super authentic or stick to their roots, but for me, this place just had the right blend of spices in their food and hit all the right notes for a non-Indian like myself to truly enjoy their Indian food and appreciate the richness of their cuisine (in moderation). If you could look past the hole in the wall place, you might find this hidden gem as well. Now the only complaint is I have to drive all the way down from Bellevue to Kent whenever I'm craving for their butter chicken again. :(

Let's not mince words it's a small restaurant attached to the gas station convenience store so more fast food take out than dine in but there are tables to sit. The tables needed a wipe down but service was fast and friendly. We ordered a salad and falafel with paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. Food came with generous portion of rice. The sauce was bland but the falafel was fresh and tasty.Garlic naan had the nice smell of garlic and the raita was good.Overall it's a pass but they do have long opening hours.

Kamal Da Dhaba is one awesome place where you can go for a good food. I have been to almost every indian restaurant in Seattle, Bellevue, Sammamish, Issaquah, Kent etc. and almost 90% of those restaurants have given me a upset stomach after a good dinner. KAMAL DA DHABA is one place i never fell sick due to the fresh food that they serve and the awesome taste, another best part is that they are open until late night which i love as i generally get eating cravings around midnight.Food tastes amazingly well....i highly recommend everyone to try atleast once. Its a perfect example of TASTE First and fancy expensive ambience later :) when it comes to food. MUST GO PLACE !

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Messed up on my butter chicken with a brown curry sauce. And gave me tasteless, watery, soups that took them over 1 hour to make. Never coming back and can't finish it. I've never hated food so much. It SUCKS. Especially for the TIME it took to make this crap. Waste of $47 for this.
