Kalamatas - Green Hills

I was craving a gyro in Green Hills, and this place hit the spot! The seating area inside isn't anything fancy, so it's a great choice for carryout.

Polite service, good is ok. Small portions not worth the price. The fries are delicious though.

Food was great. We stopped here before hitting the lantern festival in Centennial Park this past weekend. Kids had pita and hummus, we had gyro and sandwiches + Greek salad. Ambience was light, not a ton of people but the staff was awesome!!! Prices were similar to other Mediterranean places in the Green Hills area. We will likely go again.

Such amazing food. So fresh and the best flavors. Love the salads, chicken kabob plate and the spinach pies. Great service and super friendly staff.

What an amazing dinner! This was a spur of the moment find and wow we hit the jackpot. The grape leaves were my favorite. But everything was delicious. Flavorful we even put some Greek music on. The hummus had flavor and the pita was fresh and fluffy. The salad dressing was ON POINT! The soup was soul soothing and left overs were just as delicious.

Ordered pick up after leaving work and this is my first time eating at Kalamatas. Hummus & pita, gyro plate w/ rice & salad.I dug into the hummus before leaving the parking lot. It was very creamy and really good. Really hit the spot! Waited until I got home (30 min drive) before trying the Gyro Plate. The rice was sooo good. It's just basmati rice but the texture and flavor was perfect. The gyro meat was pretty traditional, not as full of spice as some places i've had, but no complaints. Greek salad - it's my favorite anywhere I go. I asked for extra feta and they accommodated. The dressing was a tangy, delicious somewhat creamy burst of flavor. So very good.Next time, I will opt to eat in and order a greek salad w/ protein and hummus! Total for the plate and hummus $24 (hummus & pita was $6 and the rest was the main course plus extra taziki)....enough food for me to have two meals so I can't complain.Service was quick and very friendly.

The food here was fantastic. The customer service was really great! I loved the open seating, and the nice music in the background; it gave a nice ambience!

My favorite Greek food in Nashville! Such nice people and such amazing food! I have been going here for years and love this place! I usually get a traditional gyro or a gyro plate or salad. The hummus is so good! It is always so fresh and flavorful. I've never had a meal here I didn't love. Such a perfect spot for lunch or a quiet dinner. The guy who runs this place always greets me when I come in and asks me how I am doing. I love him!

I've patronized this restaurant for years and have always been quite pleased with the quality of the food.Today, however, I went in and ordered spanakopita appetizer to take to my hairdresser so I could have lunch.I have never been served something called spinach pie or spanakopita that was nothing more than spinach stuffed into a piece of pita bread this is not spinach pie and I'm extremely disappointed that kalamatas would pull such a dirty trick. spinach pie is made with phyllo dough not pita bread. And I might add if I weren't so hungry I'd take it back and get my money back because it isn't good either. Certainly not worth $6. shame on you.... shame shame shame

Have eaten here a few times, and have yet to be disappointed. The food is consistently good, and service is always friendly,The restaurant is very clean
