K-Monster Chicken

Q: Why are Koreans so good at making fried chicken?A: Because it's Seoul food.Bad-dum-tss!On soft opening weekend, I was lucky #8 and I had ordered a $10 lunch box with fries and chicken thighs (with Korean sweet & spicy sauce and topped with almonds). It was tasty! Despite the commute home, the chicken stayed crunchy and the flavor is moreish.They have so many interesting flavors here and I wanna try them all! They're inside the 99 Ranch Market food court so do some shopping, buy yourself a tasty drink, and get some K-Monster!

Located inside the $.99 ranch store K monster is one of the few places where you can order cafe style. This last time around I picked up a half dozen of Yangyum flavored chicken. The chicken itself was moist. However, it was a little bit over sauced to my liking. I recall it being all dark meat (thighs & drumsticks)... I like a mix of all. Next request would be to go light sauce when tossed.

I'm an absolute monster when it comes to K-Monster! RaWR!Lucky order #8 on Sunday Funday. We ordered a lunch box with fries and chicken thighs, the Korean sweet & spicy sauce, and topped with almonds. The nicest lady was working and she had quite the humor when she remarked that the credit card machine was loud. It was nice to share a laugh.As for the actual KoFC, it was good! We ended up taking it home so the fact that the crunchiness of the chicken holding up was no easy feat. The flavors were good and it left me wanting more.I wish much success for K-Monster Chicken!

We enjoyed the chicken here! We got the signature box. I was assuming it was going to be different types of chicken styles (wings, drumsticks, popcorn, etc), but I'm not sure if it was. They all seemed to look and taste the same to me, but I could be wrong haha. I think once this place nails down their cook time and you can receive your food a bit quicker, it'll be great!

They just added some Vietnamese dishes to their menu: Pho and Shaking beef rice. The Pho is cooked by a Vietnamese chef so it is truly authentic and tastes so good with the sliced beef, tendon, stripe, meat ball. I will come back next time to try the Shaking beef rice.

To go counter inside of 99 Ranch Market. Ordering was easy with only one option for lunch or dinner. You just chose the type of chicken, the sauce and the topping if you want it. I got soy garlic chicken tenders. There were places to sit inside the market, but we chose to take ours to go. I was surprised at how crispy the chicken still was when getting back to work and eating it. The fries were decent but needed salt. Large pieces of chicken. Decent price for lunch. I'd go back again.

Walked into 99 Ranch to peruse the aisles and decided to stop at K-Monster before heading out. No regrets! The chicken was so tender and flavorful. The sauces paired with the meal were delicious and the service was fantastic. I was greeted by the cashier and he was very friendly! Can't wait to come back!

Pretty good fried chicken. I like the crushed walnut or almonds on top. Lunch special was a good value for money. I like the supermarket vibe. I wanted the sweet chili sauce on their menu but cashier didn't seem to understand or we couldn't communicate well, I just went with his recommended "sweet & spicy".

Food and service took way too long than it should've have! We were told 15mins but it was 45 mins for half a chicken! I had high hopes for this place but looks like not. Also the chicken was ok it's not as crispy like other restaurants so if u like thin crunch maybe you'll like it

The spicy sauce has the perfect amount of heat leaving you wanting more! The chicken has surprisingly very crispy skin even after it's been smothered in the sauce of your choice.
